We are very happy with our new lower level living area (a.k.a. basement) and we are already getting many nice compliments about the design and craftsmanship. We enjoyed meeting so many friendly people throughout the project.

I would strongly recommend that anyone embarking upon the construction of a new lower level in their home hire Total Custom.  To begin with, Steve Mumford, is exceptionally knowledgeable in all aspects of construction; I have never met anyone who is better able to explain the work which needs to be done to one's home and answer any questions that one may have.  Moreover, Steve is on-site for all mission-critical parts of the project, and is constantly involved in all components of the project via oral, written and digital communications.  Consequently, all of the work which is sub-contracted is consistently being overseen by Steve and his Superintendent, Dan Cook.  Between Steve and Dan, any customer of Total Custom can feel fully confident that their project will result in a beautiful, high-quality lower level of their home!

I met them at the home show in Valley Forge, they were all professional and knowable. When they arrived at the home they were prompt and courteous. The work was done correctly and in a very professional quick way. I appreciated that they came in and gave me more quotes for additional projects when I was ready to get more work done.

My wife and I are out of town a lot for work and Steve took on the role of project manager so I didn't have o worry about anything when I came back from a long day.

We have hired Total Custom to perform multiple projects on the outside and inside of our house. As a general contractor, Total Custom did a tremendous job building a portico and overseeing the accompanying hardscaping and landscaping to ensure our expectations were exceeded. Also, for our internal project, Total Custom installed beautiful trim work and took care of every detail to make our house look the way we have dreamed. Total Custom provided very competitive estimates, and as the projects kicked off, quickly gained our trust as both a contractor and a knowledgeable consultant.

Areas Of Satisfaction - I was most satisfied regarding the timing of the work. They arrived when they said and finished when they said, if not beforehand. They cleaned up so well you wouldn't even know they had been there. It was seamless to myself, the customer. That's huge for a contractor. It almost never happens, and these guys actually did it.

We had contracted with another big name company for our project, they delayed and never followed up. So after struggling with them.. working with total custom was a pleasure. Their price was better and the service was excellent, and the they completed the project in weeks compared to the 4 month delay from the other company.Overall we were very-very happy with the outcome. Everything looks great.
