The Under Construction crew and staff took on a huge undertaking by remolding and renovating a house and created our dream beach home! During this highly stressful project, Lindley and Rob were always available when needed. They were attentive to our questions, concerns and changes and gave their honest feedback when things didn’t work. They worked diligently to have our home ready in time for the summer season. Our total renovation of a 1200 sq. ft. condo presented some serious challenges because of my chemicalsensitivity to most building products. Rob and Lindley went out of their way to help me find "green"materials. They researched and used only products that were safe for me. Their willingness to listen andto take no short cuts was outstanding. In addition, their advice with design made the outcome betterthan I could have imagined. I learned to trust them. I was very involved with the project and probably drove them nuts with phone calls, but they were patient and always got back to me quickly. All and all a very good experience and a beautiful condo.

Robert was incredibly easy to deal with and gave me all necessary updates about when the work would be complete. They even worked around my schedule the few days I had to be home during the project.

I would recommend them. They did what they said they would do which is not always the case.

We recently completed a kitchen addition project to our 200+ year old home with Under Construction and are very happy with the results. I was referred by a friend who had previously used them for a kitchen makeover as well as some smaller projects. I hit it off on the phone with Jay right away and when he sat down with my wife and I to review our ideas and give us his first ballpark estimate, we were very pleased and felt comfortable making the decision to move ahead. Kristen was wonderful to work with and gave us some great ideas on the design of our space and provided the input we needed to select the cabinet look we were trying to achieve. Jeff was able to incorporate those ideas and our desire for lots of natural light in his drawings by adding large picture windows and skylights to the new room. When it came down to the actual construction and alterations to the connecting rooms, installing the cabinets, working with some of our own sub-contractors, and dealing with the nuances of an old house, Rob and his team (along with John) worked through every issue and modification and saw the job through to completion. We love the results and would highly recommend Under Construction.

Under Construction Builders, LLC gutted the entire 70's bathroom down to the studs. A total renovation was done including creating a beautiful walk-in shower. The workmanship and professionalism was superb from UCB and their subcontractors.

I HIGHLY recommend UCB. From the very beginning of our remodel, the staff was wonderful and the quality of workmanship is excellent. I worked as a buyer in a machine shop for many years and I worked in construction as a young man, so I was familiar with quality workmanship. Remember what I learned when I was a buyer: low bid is probably NOT the best bid! Can you get a lower estimate? Probably. Can you get a better quality? Absolutely NOT.

Overall the experience was great. We did have a problem with the floor but they resolved that. Our salesperson Jay was great and professional. I thought it was odd that Rob, who we thought was just our foreman, didn't let us know he was the owner of the company until the very end of the project. I just found that odd. Still, they were great. For having to remodel your kitchen with 5 kids, it was a very good experience. I would probably use them again for a big job and I would certainly recommend them.
