Huge Scam Universal Solar ....they drilled holes into my roof right through my ceiling....had tar dripping through into my home...complete hack job.... they told me I would reduce my bill to $12 a month with NVEN....I keep my temp average at 78*....I'm getting a bill from NV Energy for $147 and I'm also paying for the solar system at about $200 a month...this is not what they promised....if they had been honest with me upfront I would have never bought the system....I was told by Vito the salesman that it would take a few months to build up credits but in that time they had a payment grace period so it would all even out.....oh what a lie....if I knew the truth they would have never gotten the sale and that folks is why they lie to you...now Universal solar is telling me it takes a year to build up the credits, which is actually 1and 1/2 years....I totally got scammed and now am paying double electricity bills...this will happen to you too if you do business with them...LET THE BUYER BEWARE

Now it's really screwed me from selling my house...does not add value or make it easier to sell....they just all out lied to get the sale


I talked to Eugene at Universal Solar and he interrupted me and talked over me and claimed I was extorting them....YOU KNOW THEY ARE A SCAM when they place the burden of their scam on you…..BUYER BEWARE

Still a great product that is efficient in working well, but it would be nice to have an annual check of equipment from Universal. Part of the reason I selected your company was your monitoring and promise to repair any bad cell. Also there was to be credits for use and the green leafs. Where are the solar credits I was supposed to receive? For this reason - service after sale I have downgraded to 4 stars.

We are incredibly happy with the work they performed. Not only did they do solar instal, but also new windows. AMAzing work, looks great and works better than expected.

People should take more advantage of it. It's a good system and it saves you money. It saves you money if you sell the house. It gives you money back monthly. It's much better purchasing it than leasing it.

The solar panels were great and everything was awesome. What isn't awesome is that afterwards they call me multiple times per week trying to sell me windows now too. Even after I've said no thank you multiple times. I've actually had to block their number just to stop getting sales calls. I would rather have spent more with a different company if it meant not getting all the annoying follow-up sales calls. The panels, install, everything was great. The conduct afterwards is what would make me second guess my decision to do business with them again.

I am very happy with the system and the installation crew did a great job. Eugene was able to explain the system thoroughly including the renewable energy certificates (hint: don't sell yours to NV Energy). He pushed through a bigger and better system even though NV Energy initially would only approve a system 2/3 the size of what I now have (my system provides 100% of my power needs which the system NV Energy wanted to restrict me to would have come up short).
