All of the Wood Wise employees are true professionals who are very easy to work with. The quality of the work done is very good. I appreciated that the work was continuous with no long mysterious gaps that I hear happen with other folks remodel projects. As with any sizable project there were some unexpected annoying things that came up, but were handled. I will say that Wood Wise is not a low-dollar remodeler, but as with most things, you get what you pay for.

Wood Wise was very professional and organized on our remodeling project. They did a fantastic job transforming a house built in the 80’s to a more modern layout with a very attractive and pleasing look. When people visited after the remodeling, they were immediately impressed, and somewhat shocked at the transformation upon coming in the front door.

The upfront design work was outstanding. They provided multiple design options. The design took into account many things we would have never thought of on our own that turned out to be great ideas. The use of space is tremendously more efficient and practical on a daily basis.

Their staff and subcontractors were friendly and had excellent skills. The schedule and timing went very much to plan and expectations. Wood Wise’s approach was a big success; effective, down-to-earth, flexible, with high quality workmanship to back it up. Before the project started, they brought their subcontractors to our house to see what the job would entail. Very smart. Working with Wood Wise on our kitchen remodel was a wonderful experience. After listening closely to our ideas and concerns, Kathy provided several design options, and melded them into the final design. Kathy then accompanied me when choosing sinks, faucets, lights, etc., and helped me stay within allowances and get fixtures I love. Ben, the foreman, kept the job going and promptly addressed any and all questions and concerns we had about the job. Greg, Wood Wise's master carpenter and man of many talents, was here almost every day and was always professional and friendly, and customized things so I ended up with exactly what I wanted. The subcontractors were professional and almost always left the job site clean (if it wasn't up to his standards, Greg cleaned up after them). We had the work done over the holidays, and they told us it would take a while (it did), but there were no surprises regarding schedule or budget. At the end of the project Hank, the owner, came by with a goody bag of wood floor care products, etc. Wood Wise is not the cheapest, but they are the best.

Love our porch! The whole family spends half our lives out there now! The quality of the work is top notch. Unlike many other companies, Wood Wise hits their timing and budget and is willing to close any gaps in timing to ensure they hit their commitments.
