We were going to order the poplar and paint it white. But the woman I spoke to recommended upgrading to Mahogany because of its imperviousness. So glad we did. We put 3 coats of teak oil on it and it is beautiful. Also, our dog likes to hit the door on his way out with his paws and scratches it. But I just applied a little Teak oil on it and it looks brand new.
I love the quality of their product.
Great quality. Great service.
I have already shared the information with several friends.
They rectified the quality issue and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied.
I was worried about ordering a door on line and had doubts about my ability to correctly measure the space for the screen door. We had a wooden door with paneling and the screen portion of the door we were ordering had to mirror the existing panels. But the representatives from the company were very helpful. The two screen doors we received dovetailed wonderfully with the existing paneling on the wooden doors. Plus having a wooden screen door gives one the opportunity to sand down the door if needed. The two doors we ordered are a huge asset to our house and look so much better than the aluminium alternative.
My first closer was defective and I requested a replacement. The rep was shocked that it could be defective and made me pay for the shipping to replace a defective closer.
Product was great. Shipped way before guarantee. Service was helpful and accurate.
They make high quality custom storm windows for all homes with options like low E glass and French windows. They are high quality.
High quality, great craftsmanship, would highly recommend
They provide exceptional customer service.
They produce high quality product, in a timely manner.
They are absolutely great to work with. They are wonderful, flexible, and have wonderful customer service and great attitudes.
The screen doors were made to specifications and are beautiful.
Build quality and materials are good, and the people we dealt with (face-to-face and via email) are friendly and helpful.
Although I would recommend you to friends, I am in a bind. My handyman, Bruce Coehlo worked with Jennifer on this project. Estimate 23-0028 is all the information I have. The original estimate included the necessary hardward and I do not have that information. Bruce told me to order the shutters only as he could get the hardware locally. I have the shutters and they are beautiful, but since Bruce left town with no notice, I would like to order the hardware that went with this project. I spoke with Jennifer's replacement a few days ago and she seemed to think this would be possible. I have not heard back from her yet. I live in Punta Gorda Florida and it has been difficult getting workers since Hurricane Ian destroyed so many homes, I think if I have the necessary hardware I will have a better chance of getting some one to work. I really would appreciate your help with this matter.

Molly was really good to work with. We are very pleased with our door.
It's a beautiful natural product.
The windows came very well packaged without unnecessary plastic or styrofoam. Windows marked clearly to match the specific units in the order. Clearly well made. Good quality for the price.
They were so easy to work with and they do quality work.
I will recommend Adam's to all my customers seeking to install/replace their wood storm windows.
All your folks were attentive and could tell they were stake holders in my satisfaction.
Thank you for everything
The entire process exceeded my expectations.
Product met every need and was compatible with my 1830 home.
Only outfit we could find to make wooden storm windows; very pleased with service and product.
They produce a quality product and offer a wood alternative to triple stack aluminum storms
Friendly, prompt service and quality workmanship.
Matched existing storms dating from 1930s
The quality of workmanship on windows and doors is exceptional. I first used Adams Architectural Millwork a couple of years ago to make 13 replacement storm windows for a historical house that I had purchased. The windows were made to a high quality standard and perfectly fit. I then used them to remake a thick storm door inset with a curved leaded glass panel. The door had been neglected by the previous owner and was delaminating. Using the former door as a template, they exactly replicated in style, color stain, and hardware placement to a degree that left me in awe. I simply had to reinstall the old hardware (hinges, door handle, locks) and it fit perfectly! There had been no room for error - to 1/64th of an inch. I recently used them for 13 combination storm/screens and these also met their continuing level of high quality. I obviously keep returning to them because they have earned my trust and respect. Definitely would highly recommend them to others.
Adams Architectural Millwork provided a fair price, timely response to questions, and was patient when I needed to change the order to meet the needs of the project. They provided a window for shipping the materials and did a very nice job packing a real large window order. There was no damage in transit because of their care in the packaging. They are darn nice people to deal with!
Exceptional workmanship an fast turn around. Quality of wood was superior. Not a knot in the frame anywhere. Measurement and cutting was very precise. Rusted joints were exact. Very impressed
The storm windows turned out beautifully. Adams Architectural did a wonderful job.
Wonderful!!!
I had a great experience working with Adams Architectural Millwork. It is hard to find windows for older houses and they were a great partner for this project.
They are incredibly helpful, and their craftsmanship is excellent.
Quality that you can’t find at a big box store
Adams Architectural Millwork was super professional and it was way easier than I thought to reach them as they were accessible for inexperienced homeowners and beginners.
They are very easy to deal with and have excellent quality.
Oh, I already have. Unpacked the windows when we got home. The measurements we gave them were exactly reproduced. The windows were perfect
We have had Adams Architectural Millwork make replacement storm and screen combination windows for our two 1920's homes. The work is high quality, the windows are beautiful with attention paid to design and detail, and ordering and delivery was a breeze. We highly recommend Adams Architectural Millwork!
Excellent products and great craftsmanship. I was able to see all of their products and styles online and that allowed me to make informed decisions about their product line.
Adams Architectural the very helpful and creative in giving us the design we wanted.
Pure pleasure to work with on the front end of the ordering process. Windows arrived as scheduled. Product is everything I expected it to be.
A pleasure to work with the staff.
The product itself, a wooden screen door with a Gothic top, was well done. Initial communication was excellent. However, it took them an unexpectedly long time to provide the finished product and they did not provide updates. At one point I wondered if they’d gone out of business because no one was answering their phone and there was no voice mail available.
great work went together easily . still need 31 more windows
Great quality product at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
Out of all the wooden storm windows manufacturer across America that I researched very carefully, I finally picked Adams. Angie the sales person answered all my questions and gave me hints of how best to install the windows. The final product came EXTREMELY well packed and delivered to our parking lot by a reputable trucking company on time as promised. I would not hesitate for one second to recommend Adams for both the quality of their workmanship and the entire buying and delivery process. Eric
Why Adams? - I selected Adams Architectural Millwork based on their webpage. The pictures and reviews of their previous work helped me make my decision, I knew from there that they had a good understanding of historic buildings and that I would be getting good quality work.
Chad went over and above to make sure all of his measurements were correct. We had difficulty finding a craftsman who would take responsibility for them and who would actually install the finished product, so Chad made the hour long drive to meet and coordinate with him. Our home was built in 1866 and he created an exact replica of our existing deteriorated door that would fit into an 1866 door frame and the challenges that entails.
Why Adams? - I had searched far and wide to find someone who could make an architecturally correct custom door. A remodeler had told me about your company.
