The project took longer than expected because we have a nearly-100-year-old house, so there were unforeseen issues, like the original clapboard being secured with a zillion nails, that made the tear-down portion of the work much harder for the team than if it were a newer house. But that has nothing to do with Affordable Exteriors, just an aspect of the project that didn't meet expectations. And the end result was *well* worth it!

We were almost sorry when the project was over that we wouldn't get to see him anymore.Jose the foreman was also great, communicating with us when he had a question or wanted to bring something to our attention. We didn't really interact with the crew too much, but they all seemed professional and effective. We hadn't really thought about this issue before the project started, but we ended up being so grateful that the crew cleaned up the debris every day, going around the perimeter of the house to capture loose nails, etc. We had adopted a puppy two days before the work started, and it was such a relief to know that, when we took her outside at night, there wasn't anything lying around for her to eat!
