They responded quickly when I made initial contact. The sales representative was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was not pushy, so we did not feel pressured to make an instant decision. The installer was professional, friendly and a master at his craft. He made the process as easy as possible with no interruption to our day. He was very fast, efficient and delivered a quality installation for a quality product. I would give him 10 stars if the scale went that high. The main office stayed in contact with us from start to finish. They made sure everything was on schedule. All of the staff members were friendly and kind. The entire process was A+. I would recommend them to anyone.

Break down Communication between installer and sale agent making our bathroom installation headache for me and for my other crew who is doing the rest of my bathroom renovation. Called Jason (Project manager) explained but have not gotten back with me. I’m very disappointed with everything because the sale agent making it sound so wonderful how everything should be done. Please someone get back with me.

Construction Quality

Construction Quality - Absolutely love the new windows. I don’t even miss the grids. And easy to clean. Showers are phenomenal. So much better than the existing.

I signed the initial contract to proceed in mid-Nov. The work was finally completed in Feb. The shower install took a day, but the wrong showerhead & grab bars were installed.

Professional skillful team. Good communication. On time and ample followup is provided. Virtually no mess. Cleanup by crew was awesome!

Everything was handled so professionally - from the initial design & estimate to the timeline & construction of the finished product.

Am new to Tennessee & American Home Design is the second company to make an improvement on our house. So, at this point, am unable recommend them because we don't know anyone doing improvements in the surrounding area. However, if we do hear anything about someone looking for or making a home improvement, we would heartily recommend them.

It took 71/2 months to complete a 1day tub/shower conversion

Basic installation took place December 9 and 10. David Alvarado did a great job. Then glass had to ordered. Had to wait a week or more for glass installer to call me and set up appointment to come and measure. Eric Self came at agreed upon time and date. He measured and then he said he would order. Glass arrived but a piece broke so replacement glass had to be delivered to installer. Because of bad weather glass couldn’t be installed until January 23. The handle for shower door was the wrong size. Eric said the handle would be delivered to Knoxville the next day and I should get a phone call Monday to have the handle installed. Heard nothing. I called the Knoxville office on January 28 and spoke with Ginger, who has been very nice and courteous. She said she would talk with project manager. Called again on February 17. Ginger said ticket is in. I told her of other concerns I have had about not only the door handle, but the cleaning of the glass which wasn’t done and the floor tile that needs to be installed.
Today is February 25 and I am still waiting.
