We had a very good experience from beginning to end. One thing that we liked the most was the attention to detail at the end. This is where most contractors are done with you and you never hear from them when things go wrong. We had a few issues after we moved in and Dakota was very accommodating!

We were very disappointed that we could not get exactly the finishes that we wanted. Light selection was limited to just finish. We could not upgrade to Benjamin Moore paint, our favorite paint. In fact, we could not upgrade to a washable Sherwin Williams paint. From the cabinet color options and flooring options, we had to settle. Then, the cost of the upgrades we were able to make were really expensive. Before I recommended your company, I would have to be realistic with my friend. We were both very disappointed about the upgrades for the subdivision. Yes we had the specs also but the expensive upgrades should have been pointed out by AHP when quoting the home price initially.

We have recommended AMERICA’S HOME PLACE to several families and friends already. We will continue to do so.

Look we are not new to building. We know there will always be problems and challenges. No builder is perfect. In the end we got a beautiful lake house that we will enjoy for years to come.

The America’s Home Place team in Statesville, North Carolina was amazing. They were supportive through every step in the process and we had the best build experience. Jill was incredibly helpful through the design process, Susan gave us tremendous insight and support as well as guidance regarding all the design options which can be overwhelming, and our build Lead Colin was on top of things every step of the way. We very much liked that it was a one stop shop, They were mostly aware of all the legalities of the process. Having them do all the legwork for well, septic, concrete , supplies ect. Was great! Having Tyler to talk with and how he kept us updated was wonderful. We appreciated the support to local businesses in the area... that is important. Building a home is one of life's top stressors, Americas Home Plan was probably one of the least problematic builds I have witnessed!

Everything was very communicated throughout the process. It was a great experience.

My family and I built 9 houses through AHP in the same neighborhood this year. I would recommend AHP to someone else based on the overall experience. There were a few things that were disappointing which I will get in to, but overall, the experience was pretty good.

Areas Of Satisfaction - Lance Anderson was phenomenal. He answered all of our questions and kept us updated throughout the whole process. Even after the fact of our house being done, we moved on to the final stage project manager who is supposed to get us through to our one-year follow-up, but Lance still reaches out to make sure everything is fine and is just phenomenal. He is great.
