The whole process was as smooth as a new build can be. There was communication when needed and we were never left wondering what was happening at any time during the build.

The ability to customize floor plans and prices were good. Build quality/workmanship was below average

The price was very attractive for the house we really liked. The budget was realistic and came in under the estimated amount. The build time was faster than any other builder we have heard other people use. We are very pleased overall with the house. Our biggest issue was with communication between us and the project manager. Mostly it was positive but when we were dissatisfied with placement of the well cap, we were met with a considerable amount of push back. It was eventually resolved but left us feeling disrespected. We also had issues with items in the roof that were eventually addressed but now we have a buckling of the shingles that will be addressed in the spring. The driveway is underwhelming as we already have visqueen showing through the gravel. We also had to pay additional funds to correct an error made by the driveway contractor. The warranty group has been very responsive.

The staff was very informative and knowledgeable and easy to understand and very patient!

Everyone was friendly and helpful from start to finish. The project manager kept me informed on a weekly basis. Construction was completed faster than expected. A good group to work with.

With the high cost of construction we were about to give up on our dream of building a home on our river lot. That is until we were referred to AHP in Franklin NC. They provided the perfect house plan with the amount of square footage we needed and most importantly at a cost we could afford. We were very pleased with the whole process. We simply love our home. It is perfectly situated on our lot and with the generous window package your company provides we see the river in almost every room of our home. Overall, I am happy with the house's quality and price. The process with the PM was very frustrating, due to this, I would tell others to look to see if they can find another company with similar price and good reviews prior to going with AHP; if they couldn't find it, I would say go with AHP.

I would say our experience as I am sure with most had it's ups and downs. I do think there is many places where our experience could have been improved, I think communication amongst your employees would be a big area for improvement.

From beginning process to the end of build we were treated as if we were their #1 customer. Becky was exceptional when it came to picking out colors and designs. The entire crew at AHP was respectful and answered our questions in a timely manner. AHP always kept our budget in mind as the process moved forward. Can't say enough about Jeremy Hux, our project manager, he was always approachable and answered all questions in a timely manner. He always went above and beyond. Super person inside and out!

We lived out of state the first six months AHP was building our home and we couldn’t have survived the process without our project manager, Daniel Wilson! We submitted a huge change order to finish out the entire walkout basement attached to the garage. It was a unique floorplan and he spent extra effort working with the drafters and many workers to help us get the layout and features we wanted. He was always prompt in answering any questions we had and kept us in the loop—always with a great attitude!

We are very pleased with our new home. Construction was completed more quickly than we expected without compromising quality. Staff were always friendly and available. Our project manager, Jason, was fantastic, honest, quick to respond, and wonderful to work with.

AHP worked closely with my wife and I mainly my wife. They always made sure that everything was going to our satisfaction. Everyone there was great to work with, and I would highly recommend them. They are second to none.

Scott and Kristine were extremely helpful, patient, and thorough in the design/selection phase. We were very disappointed that we could not get exactly the finishes that we wanted. Light selection was limited to just finish. We could not upgrade to Benjamin Moore paint, our favorite paint. In fact, we could not upgrade to a washable Sherwin Williams paint. From the cabinet color options and flooring options, we had to settle. Then, the cost of the upgrades we were able to make were really expensive. Before I recommended your company, I would have to be realistic with my friend. We were both very disappointed about the upgrades for the subdivision. Yes we had the specs also but the expensive upgrades should have been pointed out by AHP when quoting the home price initially.

We have recommended AMERICA’S HOME PLACE to several families and friends already. We will continue to do so.

Look we are not new to building. We know there will always be problems and challenges. No builder is perfect. In the end we got a beautiful lake house that we will enjoy for years to come.
