Arcus Restoration - Chattanooga, TN was very courteous in the inspection, work and cleanup. Even though the materials were hard to find, they did a very good job matching what was needed for the repair.

The initial installation crew was great but not the ones who put in the flooring.

We had several issues during our remediation: They did not seal the room they were working in, so dust covered the entire first floor of the house and got in the ductwork. In order to remediate our water problem, the floor and subfloor had to be removed from the kitchen. They put down a few pieces of plywood, but left gaps between the plywood and the rest of the floor. It was not safe to walk in this area. When I asked them to do a better job of covering the floor to make it safe, they still did not fix the problem. They removed the wet material and began running dehumidifiers to dry out our house. They said it would take 5 days, but they would return on days 2 and 4 to check progress. They did not show up those days and when we called them on day 4 their response was that it wouldn't be dry until day 5, so they were just coming back then. Well on day 5 they discovered that they created a leak on day 1 so NO progress had been made. If they had come back to check as they said they were going to, this could have been discovered on day 2. They had the leak repaired and we had to start another 5-day cycle of drying out. They missed part of the ductwork that need to be remediated, and I had a hard time getting them to come back to fix the ductwork in the way the contractor said it needed to be fixed. Additionally we found that Arcus cut the cord to our garbage disposal rather than just unplugging it from the outlet. So it now has to be replaced.

Arcus was very accommodating and helpful during a very stressful time.
