Outstanding customer service!
Overall, they were excellent to deal with, both as a company and their subcontractors. They were professional, polite, and we had no problem with them coming in and out of our home when we weren't there. They were trustworthy and left the work space clean everyday whenever they left. They were thorough in reviewing the work that had been done or was ready to be done. I would refer them to family or friends if they were every in a position to need them.

So far, I've really appreciated the work by ARS. They've been timely and done a great job. I have a lot of confidence they will finish the project on time and without issues, which is not something I'd usually say about this type of project!

ARS provided high-quality work, but a slow timeline.
After experiencing a flood in my bathroom the ARS team came in quickly and dried the area. I worked with them through the rebuilding of my tub area and the completed project exceeded my expectations. The team was very professional from the onset and I wanted to stay with them through the completion of the project.
Fire happened Jan 11th. They have yet to begin repairing or house. Within first week they made holes in ceilings and walls covered them with plastic and that's how they left our home. Still waiting on project manager to call about repairs. It is now Feb 16th
Mitigation process went fine, they failed to communicate and begin restoration in a timely manner. Was sent a blank contract to sign and never a detailed description of work to be performed.
They did a lovely job and it was done well. However, on the last day the two gentlemen left me and didn't put the furniture back, hook the television back up, or put the pictures back to how they were. They left my house a mess. The workmanship was very good and the walls and floor are fine. In the final push, they screwed up completely. I had to hire someone else to fix my TV. My pictures are still not hung on my wall, and I am having to wait for my son to do that. They left the TV sitting on the couch. They were supposed to put it all back the way they found it.
The time period from my problem until work was completed was very long. The project wasn't that large but it took 3 1/2 months to complete.
As of my so far experiences I would not recommend them at this time.
I have used ARS for several different projects and I have found them to be a pleasure to work with. They do very good work.
I would highly recommend ARS to my friends or any one who needs help with restoration
ARS did an amazing job for our family. Our home looks better than new, and after the craziness of the fire that caused it, they were attentive and caring. They always returned phone calls and emails, and the crew that worked on our siding was second to none. Their workmanship was only bested my their smiles that greeted me every day. Great people to work with.
I had a water leak that continued for at least a week while away on vacation, major damage. ARS Restoration was responsive, they were on site within a couple hours of being contacted on a Saturday night. Polite crew, respectful of the house and belongings, explained the process and followed through. Kept in touch while monitoring the dry-out process for a week. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has to deal with a water damage emergency.
Everything about this project was handled with impressive professionalism and attention to workmanship and detail. Jeff was outstanding and Renaldo and his crew could not have worked harder to restore our home after the serious damage we experienced. We highly recommend ARS. Great job!!
ARS responded promptly to our call after the water leak was discovered. The mitigation work began the next day and was thorough and done carefully. I highly recommend ARS if you have the misfortune to suffer damage to your home.
I would never hire them again. I was disappointed in their service and I had to chase them. It took them six months to finish the apartment and that was a huge loss of rent.
Overall, great service. Played phone tag more than I wanted to trying to set up an actual appointment.
They came on time and the staff is friendly.
I went through my insureance so I don't know what the cost was but as far as their work is concerned they were very professional and thoughtful throughout the entire process. They did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would.

The ARS employees who came to the house with fans to dry out our basement, which was wet due to a leak in the water heater, were fine. The problem, a very vexing problem, was the unprofessional and unresponsive behavior of the person with whom I dealt repeatedly on the phone. (I believe his name was Mike. I tried to repress the name once this incident was over!) I had to be out of state for three weeks for work within a few days after the leak. That meant that any timing of visits by ARS, after the third day, required that I coordinate not only with ARS but with another person who occasionally works for me to let the ARS employees into the house. It might have been almost as difficult however even if I had been in state the whole time. Why? Because Mike would call 4:30pm or later each time he called - and then leave work at 5:00pm for the day - and would announce "ARS is coming to your house at 10am tomorrow" or whatever time it might be. This allows the customer no time to adjust their own schedule. There was no recognition that ARS might be dealing with people with work schedules, people who can't automatically change their schedules to meet ARS' needs, and no acknowledgement of the fact that they are a SERVICE, meaning that they exist to serve the customer, not the other way around. When I asked him if he couldn't provide more notice, he insisted he could not: "This is how the system works." When I explained that this was unreasonable, with less than 1/2 hour to get back to him to see if I (when I was in state) or the person who works part-time for me could change our schedule for ARS' visit, he was totally unresponsive. At one point, the person who works for me got the 4:40pm call from him announcing a previously unannounced visit the next day (as they all were) and told him she had to check if she could change her schedule the next day for ARS, telling him she would call him back as soon as possible. Ten minutes later, after making a series of phone calls, not long before Mike was to leave work for the day, she called him back and said yes, she could be there when he wanted her to be there. To this, he announced that, since he hadn't heard back sooner (I know that she literally called back in ten minutes as we did this by conference call), he had scheduled someone else at this time. This is unresponsive, nearly hostile service. Your website will not let me rate you less than three stars (an intentional defect in your website??) Otherwise I would. Again, the employees who came to the house were fine. Mike and the system within he works are just unprofessional.Retrain Mike, if you provided him any training at all, and redesign your scheduling systems to recognize that your customers are often unable to change their work schedules at the last minute to serve you. I think that I will also send this to AMICA so that they know what their customers must suffer when they recommend you to them.
I am happy with the job.
They were absolutely fabulous. They were respectful of my home, paid great attention to detail and I would recommend them to anyone. I am a picky person and like to do things myself. For me to recommend them to anyone is a big thing since I am not afraid to fire a contractor. I will be using them again to put everything back together.

On very short notice, ARS Restoration Specialists provided emergency services during evening hours from an hour’s drive away to cover a section of roof which had lost shingles due to high winds. Not only was this completed quickly (in the dark) but I was provided with recommendations on permanent repair services. I would definitely recommend ARS to others.
