The quality of the build is not as high as we thought it would be.
All of the details in the home are perfect. The house was constructed quickly, and I have nothing bad to say about it.
The builder was fine, but the mortgage lender company was horrible.
I already recommended Ashton Woods to a friend. She loves my home but she currently lives in Florida.
Build process was easy and the quality seems top notch.
Ashton woods staff's dedication to building the home that we dreamed of in reality was outstanding.
We certainly highly recommend AW, compared to other builders in the Atlanta area.
While buying my first home, it was a great experience with Ashton Woods Homes, which is the reason I decided to purchase my second home with them, but the experience was not what I was expecting. I was told that the home would be delivered in June, but instead, it was delivered in January the following year, which became a 6- to 7-month delay for various reasons. They started marketing the home early, but the home had no power, and the contractors were working with generators, which was putting both parties in a difficult situation. I feel, as a nationwide-known builder, that doing this is not acceptable. The utilities should have been in place before selling and marketing the home. I bought this home for investment purposes, and my money was locked in after I purchased the home, so we were stuck. We were promised that we'd have the home done by the summer because it's the best time to rent/sell a home, but we did not secure the home at that time. Also, with the delay being 6–7 months later, it was very hard to find tenants and hard to back out of the purchase because if I did, I would have lost my deposit. They put me in a very difficult situation, and I did not have a very good experience.
Ashton Woods is a good product but I feel that since they rushed the closing there were an inordinate amount of warranty issues that I needed to call in that could have been prevented had the quality of workmanship been better on the front end.
Extremely poor customer experience from the VP of Sales. If you really care about clients you should do something about it. Else you will win transactions but never customers
The build quality is bad
We thought this would be our forever home and now we aren’t sure. We have had issue after issue with this house and it saddens me that as “Builder of the Year” for 2023 that such poor workmanship and materials are used.
My community is high quality.
The process was great w Connor and Jared. Loved that. They are super knowledgeable and helpful. Quality of some products makes me hesitate.
Have had nothing but a positive experience with Ashton Woods so far. The project manager, Brandon Klouser, has been especially helpful.
Home models in this Part At Wimberly community are very good. One Warranty service is excellent. Sara did an excellent job with flexible schedules & follow-up updates.
Overall we feel the quality is very good. We feel very much at home.
We were lied to by sales rep and did not receive the $6,000 in closing costs. Developer & builder did not disclose HOA declaration before signing contract nor a closing as we were told. Subdivision was advertised has having an HOA, no one in the neighborhood was ever told the neighborhood was also part of a POA. This was never disclosed. We had to ask the HOA Mgt company for a copy of the declaration after closing. It is very apparent the Aston Woods and the developer did not want to disclose the POA information.
We are very much enjoying our new home. Joe has been helpful with a few projects.
They did what they said they would do.
To date, our experience has not been great. We have lived in the home for one year and still
After going through this process, I would not recommend any new build community to a friend until there is a real change in the workmanship quality of these homes.
There is so much to love about our home and are incredibly appreciative! The wood floors are beautiful. The community is very quaint and charming. We love our home layout and location, but some of the features are not high quality, especially at these price points so I have to score it a 4/5. The lack of granite countertops or even artificial stone in the bathrooms was shocking. Cultured marble belongs in homes with a much lower price point and should not have been considered an option for base. Additionally, the lack of wi-fi availability for over a month, and still going, in this neighborhood has been somewhat of a nightmare. It would have been nice of the builder to consider offering more than one option to owners.
Ashton Woods is amazing and their warranty service was quick and effective!
Ashton Woods Homes delivers a seamless home-buying experience with high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Their customer service and dedication to creating beautiful, functional spaces make them a builder I would confidently recommend to friends.
