Great build quality from Ashton Woods, honest and trustworthy representatives in both sales and customer service.

Recommendation:
I am unable to recommend Ashton Woods due to a variety of ongoing issues encountered throughout the construction process and after moving in. Prior to purchasing, we were not provided with clear information regarding the location of the home and driveway on the property. Had we known the exact placement, we would have reconsidered the lot choice. Our home lacks a defined front yard space and is positioned perpendicular to the neighboring home, creating ongoing challenges with parking, moving in, and accessing our driveway. It seems that maximizing profit by fitting as many homes as possible into the cul-de-sac took precedence over ensuring adequate space, comfort, and livability for the buyers.

Design Studio Experience:
Considering we purchased a $700,000 home, the baseline features available were extremely disappointing. It is unacceptable that significant upgrades are required to meet current design trends. Sharing the design studio brochures only after deposits are submitted is poor business practice and left us uninformed about what the base features at the listing price actually included. Cultured marble should not be the standard bathroom feature at this price point, especially in the master bathroom. Additionally, charging over $3,000 to upgrade to Shaker cabinets is excessive. The fact that homes completed months before ours had 3” wood plank floors while we were offered inferior options is also frustrating. Furthermore, many upgrades are either priced excessively or outdated, with limited options that do not reflect current, classic design trends. The design studio also lacks sufficient visual tools, such as stock images or renderings, to help buyers visualize potential options. In this digital age, it seems outdated to require untrained homeowners to select individual pieces without clear examples or AI-driven design support.

Quality of Materials:
The quality of materials used in the construction of our home has been extremely disappointing. Within the first month, we experienced issues such as breaks in the siding, damaged caulking, peeling bullnoses that were later found to be defective, warped cabinets, thin walls, and a broken, excessively loud garage door. These early issues raise significant concerns about the long-term durability of the home and have made me apprehensive about recommending Ashton Woods to others.

Landscaping:
The landscaping has been poorly executed. Our yard is uneven, with large holes throughout, and the plants installed in the front of the home died within weeks of moving in. Additionally, the landscaping behind the home was left unmaintained for months. The green space behind our property is in poor condition, lacking trees and with ragged grass that detracts from the overall aesthetic and view.

They worked to make sure I was satisfied.

Overall a positive experience.

We are beyond happy with the home that Ashton Woods provided us! Easton, the construction manager, has been super helpful, professional, and kind in helping our family settle in our first home.

Although my home is beautiful, there have been issues with the electrical that are still not resolved.

I felt that the homes were built well; however, the fine details and minor enhancements were left out of the home. I felt the home was built in the cheapest way possible.

It is pretty good. The location is good, which is why I chose to move there.

We had a very pleasant overall experience with our new home purchase. Jacob Owens was a very knowledgeable Sales Rep. He was very courteous and prompt in his responses during the home buying process. On the lending side, David Simpson with Velocio Mortgage was a great help and guided us extensively thru the entire mortgage process from the loan application to the closing. He also provided necessary consultations based on his expertise and coordinated with various parties involved in the process. During the home closing/orientation phases, Gary Bishop made sure that all our concerns were addressed on time. The NHO was very thorough & comprehensive and him along with Jacob Zubel went over the scheduled appointment duration to ensure all our questions were answered. For post closing phases, Paul Burke provided outstanding customer service for all our service requests. He was very prompt and responsive and made sure that all our requests are acknowledged and resolved asap. He coordinated with various trades and scheduled their visits on priority for us. Paul made sure to follow up after the service appointments to ensure work was done properly to our satisfaction. Definitely one of the best customer services we have experienced esp. during post closing/warranty phases.

I would highly recommend Ashton Woods Homes to my friends & family, and I already have! Across all the various departments and the personnels, we found their approach very customer centric with a open & prompt communication. We are very satisfied with our home purchase with Ashton Woods!

We will not be recommending Ashtonwoods. My husband is on a loan and I am not. We did not have any Credit challenges. We were preapproved together and I am not on this loan David Simpson, the loan officer, and Anthony did something over the weeks they didn’t even contact us we didn’t even know what was going on. We had to contact them over and over again and they did not even return most of our calls until weeks later, now I have to figure out how to get myself back on a loan. We are highly dissatisfied.

We have had a really nice experience with Ashton Woods! We built a home with another builder a few years ago and this was much better.

I definitely recommend Ashton Woods Homes. The overall process was seamless, and we are very satisfied with our home. My only concern was the communication and initial delays in addressing some issues with our home. Once resolved, everything else went smoothly.

The workmanship is terrible, everything, even the doors. It is unbelievable, they rush you through signing and the moment you sign they have someone take care of you for a year but everything is, oh, that's normal, oh no, that's normal. It's awful.

The home designs are incredible. But ours is the absolute best! We love the large kitchen and living area space. The bathroom in the master is well designed as well. I would say the only thing missing is a fireplace.

I have been happy with everything in the house from Ashton Woods Homes.

The build quality is poor. There are many faults in the house. I had a roof leak in the first year. There were a lot of wood planks that are broken in the attic. I had that on the walk-through to be fixed, and it didn't get done. I can see all the wood in the attic, but I can't see if the boards are broken on the inside of the house behind the drywall. The floors are really bad, too. I would not recommend Ashton Woods Homes.

I love my home and am very happy AW came through on the needed repairs. Still need one handled but I am sure it will be taken care of.
