The Ashton Woods Homes agent, Jacqueline, was excellent and did a really good job.

There are many low-quality items for a brand new home. Including things like the windows. The common areas are completely destroyed. It does not look alike a brand new community. I would not recommend Ashton Woods Homes to anyone.

The buying process was smooth, straightforward, and very transparent. Our sales representative did a great job in conveying the value of the property, and we were satisfied with that part of the process.

We had an excellent experience all the way through the buying process. Our Sales Team was amazing (Jacqueline Fraser & Kim). They were always there when we needed them. Mike is still the best in the business. He always took care of our concerns during the building process and was very supportive and patient as we closed and ironed out the new home wrinkles. Jared Schieve has been great during the warranty period. We haven't had many problems, but everything that we brought up was taken care of quickly and without hesitation.

They did not respond to any of the problems at home. We tried to contact them to fix some things after we moved into the house, but the quality of the products was not good.

I feel as though the Hines are built in a rush. Slow down and have them done properly. Perhaps that will lessen the complaints.

Unavailability of materials during construction phase that were chosen during design studio, created a very stressful process. In addition, there was an unavailability of material with similar quality which reduced the quality of the house.
Communication regarding those options were questionable and extremely overpriced.

I didn’t go through the home building/loan process like most people that did when they build a house since I purchased a quick move-in. Filling out the contract went smooth with Jacqueline and the small issues were taken care of by Jared timely for the one yr warranty.

The company and the houses are good. The general manager charged us money from the lender.

AC stopped working within first month

We adore the quality and charm of our home. Ross was an honest, stand-up guy who was proactive and trustworthy. He kept us in communication constantly with updates on the home, he listened to any and all of our concerns and attended to them immediately and thoroughly. He went above and beyond to give us the “Ashton Woods experience”. We were so grateful to work with him.

I used to think Ashton Woods was a great company until my clients and I had to go through construction and customer service… not a pleasant experience!

Great product I am a GC but I picked Ashton

It’s a nice neighborhood and we haven’t had many issues. I do wish the options would have been thoroughly explained to us when we were picking our home. For example, we were told once we pick a package, we wouldn’t change anything but that’s not true, we found out afterwards that we could’ve changed the lighting fixtures and the bathroom fixtures.

The home buying and building process was seamless.

The quality of the build is above average. The only issue is with the builder/contractors who seems like they are not properly supervised or checked often to make sure they are not making shortcuts of the specific tasks. I understand these contractors are grown men and women but with the issues residents are having, it seems no one is going back behind to check for quality of work. Ashton Woods as a “clean up as you go” rule but not enforced because trash is everywhere (food, packets, empty drink bottle, screws and nails all over the job site and on the roads including the side walks.

You have a good quality as well as a great customer service

I like everything about my house. In addition, AW was very responsive when answering my warranty requests.

Craftsmanship of work is sloppy and work looks rushed. Attention to detail is non existent and justification from workers is “that is kind off normal” or “looks good to me” I did not pay to NOT see imperfections

Overall, I would recommend AWH. Much like anything else, there are a few things they need to work on, especially when it comes to customer service in sales and design. That may be true of most large home builders. Our construction manager was the one who made the real difference in our home buying experience with AWH.

We have had so many issues with our home, they are electrical. They can't seem to figure out the problems. I don't know if I would be willing to tell my friends to purchase an Ashton Woods Home with the problems we encountered.
