There were many times I should have walked away. I am going to sell within 2 years. There were lots of issues with workmanship and the quality was awful. It was a new design center, and the process should have taken 6 hours but took 16 hours instead. I lost count of the times we went back to pick new tile due to design issues.

We have had difficulty having Ashton Woods Homes (Dallas) come to do warranty work.

Great experience and a beautiful home, the whole team has been easy to work with.

Also, the Home Owner orientation with Mike was very helpful. He patiently clarified all our doubts/questions and provided insights about the house. Would definitely recommend.

Buying process, service, and warranty were all stellar.

The quality control during the build is extremely poor, resulting in many visits from the warranty department over a year's time. It was a horrible experience.

Ashton Woods Exceeded our expectations

The building team was amazing. They kept us informed every step of the way.

The build quality of our home is not up to the standard that we would expect from a $600k home. We purchased a new build home in Houston from David Weekley prior to owning our Ashton Woods home and it was vastly superior in every way. We are quite disappointed with the level of craftmanship and attention to detail in our Ashton Woods home.

The house is beautiful. We saw a lot of new construction during our search, and we could see the Ashton Woods Home was better.

The overall experience was great. Our Project Manager, Lonald Frazier, went above and beyond to assist us moving into our dream home. Beyond the program management, Lonald provided great mentorship to us as this was our first home that was built from the ground up. Lonald's teammate, Matt Avelar was of great assistance as well. Matt, Jose, and Braden led closeout efforts and worked hard to put the final polish on our home. You can tell both (Lonald and Matt) of them are trusted and counted on from many that reside in the neighborhood.

The superintendent for Verde Trails was very attentive and did an excellent job especially during the walk thru. I think his name is Brian.

Ashton Woods Homes provides really good quality and customer service. The warranty is good. When you call, they are there for you. They are also neat and clean.

Ashton Woods have been great to work with. Our project manager, Dustin, has been very communicative and responsive with any needs.

Didn’t realize at the time when I purchased that there was going to be a large rental community attached to this development. We’re already experiencing the crime that comes with those types of areas, with several cars being broken into at night. I think it’s something y’all should have disclosed, so shame on y’all.

My experience with customer service at Ashton Woods Homes was good. I do not like some of the cheap appliances or the design flaws with the refrigerator door hitting the pantry door.

They did not respond to any of the problems at home. We tried to contact them to fix some things after we moved into the house, but the quality of the products was not good.

Ashton wood is so keen on process ,corporate rules and profit than customer satisfaction. though AW has good reputation on quality of building, I would not recommend to friends as I was not satisfied overall way each buyers were treated including me.

Our AW home is our 5th new home. Structurally we have been very pleased. We didn't have the opportunity to pick out any of the upgrades etc because of our timing and that the house was already sold and fell through prior to our finding it. Not everything was perfect but with new construction (especially being built at the end of Covid) our expectations were not set that high. Would I recommend AW to a friend absolutely.

It’s been a good experience

Very seamless process.

The people they have to build the homes do not take pride in their work. For example, painting on the outside and inside the house. If they make a mess, they need to clean it up. Up under the sink and all, they don't go back and correct the mistakes. They paint like first-graders. These homes cost too much for things like this. They need people who take pride in their jobs. I'm not against immigrants, but I think they should be able to speak English.

Great quality and would buy again 10/10

Most of the build was done right. There was some poor paint jobs, holes in the corners and caulking issues. Paying this much, I expected a bit more.

The quality of the home seems good and I like the main flooring and kitchen. The home is energy efficient. The purchasing process went smoothly.

I feel as though the Hines are built in a rush. Slow down and have them done properly. Perhaps that will lessen the complaints.

Prompt service, very thorough, no surprise

The Sales and Closing process was very collaborative and Paul was very clear how things would work. All our requests were taken of by our builder. We had no major issues post closing and before the 1 year warranty expired. Keep up the great work !

I have mixed feelings. Overall the house itself wasn't too bad. There were some big issues but they were taken care of. But the warranty process itself was a nightmare. We found it to be very drawn out with zero communication. We had one time where we thought some repairs were coming, but we stopped receiving any communication from our rep. Weeks later I finally managed to track him down and found out that he had quit, and that we'd have to figure out some other way of getting help. I tried getting help in a variety of different ways, until finally we went to one physical sales location and sat at the desk of someone and begged them to find us help. He was very gracious and reached out to Dillon Branson, who went out of his way to work with us even if it meant he had to work outside of the system to get it done. Without Dillon we'd probably still be waiting for help. So thank you to him but I really think the system itself needs to be improved.

The salesman and construction manager were very helpful before, during, and after the buying process. The new house is well constructed, and the neighborhood plan is exciting.

Rushed work. One year warrantee submission and completion is absolutely the worst process to do.

Tiffany Clark was great to work with, she was a great person and was very transparent. However, the contractors were dishonest and unprofessional.

They have a good variety of homes. They build the neighborhood and don't do it cookie cutter like other homes in the country. The quality seems to be high. We had a new home built in Maryland and the quality wasn't as robust. We have only been here for a month and I'm sure there's more to come. We have had to call someone out for a warranty situation. The guy that makes sure the houses are being built right has been very accommodating in getting us most of the stuff that we requested. We moved in two days before the storm. The house stood up to it pretty well except for a fence. They aren't going to be able to get it covered to be fixed because of the storm.

I have really had no issues with the house. Ashton Woods Homes has been great. We bought the house when it was already done, so I don't really know how things go throughout the whole building process, but I am sure they probably went the same.

Your sales and financial staff were great. They worked hard and quickly to get us into our home on our timeline. We really appreciate their service. As to the quality of the home home itself I, Troy, was somewhat disappointed. Perhaps I was just expecting too much from a company that advertises being the Home Builder of the Year.

Not likely. All employees ( on the construction side ) I have dealt with have limited construction knowledge. The sales side is not much better.

The sales girl Angela was amazing and available all day and was very polite responding to questions and explaining everything the way we needed her too. Jared was nice too and we had minimal issues but anything we needed help with, they would respond to right away. So, we really felt seen and heard throughout this entire process.

Very happy with our AW representatives and my wife and I are glad we went with Ashton Woods for our home.

Everyone that I've worked with at Ashton Woods has been great. We even referred our friends to our neighborhood and they will be closing on their home soon!
