Wonderful group, great management, great employees, management treats employees well, have long term employees of 26 years, the foreman, when they replaced the roof, they are good at finding problems on old roof, and the time and material costs came in at a significantly less amount than I expected. The cleanup was outstanding by cleaning up my old stuff in the surrounding area. They told me it was okay. The manager, Mike, was knowledgeable, a gentleman, and respectful. When it came time to conclude our business, he didn't call about money, he wanted to find out if there were problem areas.

Auburn Roofing, Inc. was very professional, did a great job, and took care of everything I asked them to take care of. With the new vents, we are not used to having as many on the roof with all the new codes. They told me to call them back if my wife was not comfortable with the way they looked, and they would come back to spray paint them. I think I'll take them up on their offer. That is something other companies would not do. They are very attentive.

Auburn Roofing did the job as they said they would. It was a good value for my money.

The owner Jim was friendly and his daughter was also easy to work with. Unfortunately, they had told us that the areas of valley metal would all be replaced with black which would match our home. The main valley in front of the home was just rooted over. No valley metal was installed. We mentioned to them and they told us they would have to charge us hourly PLUS materials for their guys to remove the shingles and install a valley metal. After going back and forth and not liking the look of the roof without it, we had no choice but to pay it. Which was a big bummer since we had been told all valley metal would be replaced. They even agreed to split the cost which shows they knew they had done wrong. We had to pay close to $900 for our half. We contacted the company that the purchase the valley metal from and they told us it was somewhere around $90 for the 3 pieces in black. Auburn Roofing charged is hundreds of dollars for the pieces. We asked for a receipt for proof of valley metal and we were provided with a receipt of several items purchased the same day in addition to our material. We were just done at that point and figured to pay it and just know better in the future to get ALL in writing.
