They just did a pretty good job. I would recommend them to anybody who needs a new window or new service.
I am not likely to recommend Bee window without a caution attached.
I wanted a local Fort Wayne company and Bee Window advertises as locally owned. They are headquartered in Fishers, IN and the crew was from Gas City.
Only if asked by a friend
Bee Window was very professional. They did exactly what they said they would do. I have the highest quality window on the market.
If ever I know anyone wanting siding or any project done I would gladly recommend Bee Window.
Quality work and product
For all of the reasons stated herein, we certainly would not be comfortable referring. Not a great experience for us.
excellent work with attention to detail we would strongly recommend Bee.
yes, I've spoken to 16 people. Two people have ask for AAron to come give an estimate.
I contacted BEE because they offered a 60% off promotion. I'm not a math wiz but the $7400. initial qoute (he said we'd get a prefered customer discout as we'd bought windows from them in the past) and the actual cost of the window $5500. does NOT compute to the 60% off. I had to borrow money to pay for this window. Sure wasn't very happy about that. Plus the sales rep was a bit pushy and didn't let us sleep on it which is what we've always done on anything we buy. Don't think that won't come up when someone asks about the window.
Very satisfied with our project. Highly Recommend.
The folks who came and measured very friendly along with the installation team who were friendly, efficient, worked around obstacles, got done what they said would get done and everything turned out really nice.
From start to finish, this was by far the best experience we have ever had with having any building/remodel work done. And, my husband was coordinating all this work on my parents' home in Lafayette while he was in New Mexico. Communication was always timely and all details were firmed up and in writing before we arrived in Indiana to oversee the project. Also, since we were coming from out of town, we really appreciated that Bee windows was able to ensure that the demo/remodel was scheduled during the time we were in town. It was truly a pleasure to work with Bee and my parents are very happy with their new, safe and accessible shower. and we have piece of mind that they are safe and can continue to live in their home as long as possible.
From teh time Adam was here and talking to me about the windwos and from the time the guys finished and installed the windwos they were neat. They knew I had a health problem and I had to be careful with the temperature from the outside being too could. I was thrilled.
The sales was very respectful and so was the installers for both windows and shower. They were able to install in a matter of couple of days with the shower and a few hours for the windows on one try where another competitor could not get the measurements of the windows correctly after 4 tries so had to let them go after dealing with them for over two years. My only regrets with Bee is they did not let us know the shower walls we had originally chosen they had quit making it so they decided for us without our knowledge on the change. It still looked good but they should have told us first.
Unlike my past Bee Window experiences, this one was not smooth. It seemed like there was a lot of lack of communication that resulted in this job being a little less efficient than what I’ve been used to from Bee Window in the past.
On the day of the job, when Darwin arrived, he said he had not been given the instructions he needed to do the work. We scrambled to find the contract, which had all the preferences we had laid out a couple months prior. This was a big stressor for me and for him.
I don’t believe this was Darwin’s fault, but as the siding was drilled and nailed to the house, we had nails poke through our walls because they were too thin. Darwin didn’t believe they were from his crew because the nails were not aluminum, but it was difficult to explain how some nails were rusty (as if they were original) and others were pretty pristine and looked like they were manufactured within the past decade. All in all, we’ve found at least five different 2.5” nails that made their way through the walls. Again, I don’t think these nails came from Darwin’s crew, but had I known that there was a possibility of nails coming through our existing space, I would’ve been a little more hesitant about contracting for this job.
Near the end of the first day on the job, the dumpster for the debris still had not arrived. For the majority of the day, there was sharp, rotting siding all around the house because Darwin’s crew had nowhere to put it. This made it difficult for me to leave my house, and one time when I tried to leave, my calf was sliced by a piece of siding.
When the job was finished, I was told that the dumpster would be picked up next business day, first thing in the morning. That did not happen. In fact, it took a full week before the dumpster was taken, which not only made our garage inaccessible that whole time, but we also parked on the street, away from our house because we weren’t sure which day a semi would need to come to pick it up. It was only on Wednesday afternoon (after the job had finished the previous Saturday) that we were notified that it would be picked up that coming Friday.
The first few days after the job was done, my wife and I found ourselves still cleaning up the yard. I can appreciate that it’s hard to pick up every last piece of wrapper, discarded plastic, etc., but we were finding used cigarettes and chicken bones strewn throughout the yard. Our dog ended up finding one of the chicken bones before we did, which was cause for concern as that can have fatal consequences.
My wife and I are pleased with the work and everything worked out: my cut has not been a problem, none of my dogs are sick, and we were able to take care of the nails that poked through the inside of our house. But the communication and execution of this job felt inconsistent compared to what we’ve experienced in the Bee Window jobs in the past, and it does bring us some pause in contracting with Bee Window to replace all of our windows, which was the next job we were considering have done.
The whole staff, from sales, scheduling, and installation, was all polite, informative, efficient, and professional. Thanks to all. No more $500 heating bills! (And Happy Thanksgiving &Merry Christmas!)
Sales Rep makes promises that couldn’t be delivered.
Yes! Our salesman, Zach Bailey, was so thorough with his presentation that we included extras in our order for a better outcome. Additionally, the price point was very reasonable and the quality of product is excellent. An all-around great experience!
I have and would recommend Bee Window.
Very professional.
Wish I could have had a more experienced salesperson
Bee’s salesperson provided us with information on the windows and with to different options in order for us to make an informed decision. They estimated 6 weeks for installation and completed the installation in 3-1/2 weeks. The installers did an excellent job. We would highly recommend Bee Windows.
They have been absolutely amazing and very affordable.
