We feel that Belfor Seattle took much too long to do the job. There were weeks that no workmen were here, then someone would come for a day or two, but be called to another job and there would be no one again. Electrical work seems to have some problems and installation of fixtures is shoddy work. The carpenter named Claudio was a very good, conscientious worker. Chris, the job supervisor was courteous, but seemed to have his work spread out too much to do the job in a timely manner.
Could not finish a tiny job for a few square feet; very difficult to get their response, it took a year and half, still not get required task done.
Some workers were fabulous and some were not. I am not totally against Belfor, there were just a coupe of employees that did not meet my expectations.
It was a three-day project that wasn't complete after five weeks and had to be completely redone. We were ignored repeatedly, and beyond inconvenienced. I do not have enough room on this space to describe all the issues.
I was really happy with their work and that they were very responsive. I enjoyed working with them.
Employees worked late into the evening despite our requesting they leave the job site by 6:00; painted outside and asked if we had lights so they could see to finish job. One man putting plastic up 14' with no other employee on site; is this an OSHA safety violation? Worker put his foot through the ceiling in the loft. Moved boxes, etc. from storage shelves and did not cover to protect from paint spray and dust. One year later I'm still cleaning up the dust.
I ASKED TIME AND AGAIN FOR A MANAGER TO LOOK AT THE WORK DONE IN MY HOME. STILL WAITING. NO ONE HAS COME.
Watch out! The team at Belfor makes a lot of promises but in our case rarely lived up to any of their commitments. A brand new roof: first major rain -->> multiple leaks. Promises to be onsite? No contact, no appearance, no workers, no equipment (they borrowed MY ladder, shovel, cords). Our claim became a low priority when a better job came along. We couldnt get the work done or they sent untrained guys. The list goes on and on.
They took too long and I wouldn't recommend them.
Belfor was horrible to work with. You didn't keep appointment times, did tests that were not necessary and then tried to charge me for work that wasn't completed. I ended up doing the repairs myself because of the amazingly bad service your company provided.
Took Belfor a long time to get started on our repairs. At first communication was spotty but once the repairs got started it went smoothly and we are happy with their work. Nice guys too.
I definitely would not because of everything that happened.
