Mike Benson was an excellent contractor. He lived up to everything he said, and did everything the way he said he would. Not only that, he was here and ready to work himself, and then he brought in an excellent team. I am extremely satisfied and very happy with his work.

What a great group of workers.There was a bad leak in the ceiling of our living room. Some paintings needed to be stored while the work was done. They carefully wrapped each piece prior to storing. They were respectful of my family and I and stayed in the living room. A plastic sheet separated them from the rest of the house. They needed to repair a large whole in the ceiling where the leak had traveled. I hardly knew they were there. They fixed the ceiling and then repainted the entire room. The man who painted did an excellent job, plus he worked from the moment he arrived (9:00am) until it was time to leave (5:00 pm). The job took a week to complete. There was absolutely no mess or dust left when they were finished. And when finished they replaced all the paintings and furniture. No one could tell anything had been moved, except the whole room was fresh and clean. Thank you so much for giving us a bright and brand new room.

I am disappointed with the response time and length of time it took to get things done. After job was done I contacted him about a month after moving back into my home about some issues that need resolution and he has to called me or sent someone out to resolve the issues also never provided a invoice even after being reminded.

The project was seamless, the workers were prompt and cleaned up the areas they were working in upon leaving. They did quality work. I was quite pleased.

Most of the work done was OK. However, areas that were not damaged by water were damaged during the process of the work. The wood floor was chipped, the walls next to damaged were also damaged. A shutter was removed that had no damage and part was chipped in the removal.

Mike and his crew are awesome! They fully explained what needed to be done, were punctual and took care of all the cleaning needs. I would highly recommend them to clean inside/outside for smoke & ash!

We had a very unpleasant experience with Benson. The first crew who showed up to do the removal of our floors and drywall were fine and polite. Then Mike showed up, was rude, dismissive, and clearly didn't want to work on this project. He never returned our calls to find out when they were coming back or completing the work. They left us without floors in our apartment for FOUR weeks without any explanation. He came out to do measurements and then sat on them and never submitted them to the insurance company for ten days. He only did it after Allstate called him to find out what was going on. I would never work with Benson or recommend them to anyone. I would go out of my way to tell people not to hire Mike.

The workmanship was excellent and the crews were very skilled and courteous.
