We had a wonderful experience working with Better Builders. Every person we worked with was personable and professional, and by the end of our project some of them felt like family and old friends. Unfortunately our project took longer than we expected, but our PM and the owners handled the delays well. We would definitely recommend working with Better Builders!

I relied on my email communications prior to signing the scope of work a great deal. I wish there had been a better transfer of details between sales and project manager as I had to do a lot of communication to get what I felt like I had agreed to. In the end, I got a beautiful addition to the house that was well constructed. Took much longer than expected. I found Better Builders easy to communicate with, even on tough stuff.

Better Builders helped us with a major remodel of our kitchen and one of our bathrooms. We have a 1920s home and wanted to maintain the period details that make our house so special while updating it with some more modern features like an open floor plan. From the start I was impressed with their commitment to our project, their consistent and open communication, and their responsiveness to any questions, thoughts and concerns. Pete has an amazing eye and he has a team of people who really know their stuff and are super friendly. We absolutely love our new kitchen and bath and look forward to working with them again in the future for other remodels.

Clean - When we started the project I was naturally worried about the possibility of lots of dust but was amazed at how clean they kept the site and how committed they were to making sure the parts of the house not under construction were as little affected as possible.
Communication
Communication - They communicated with us daily on what had been done as well as what was upcoming.

Quality Of Workmanship - The workmanship was incredible and they really cared about each and every detail.
Problem Resolution
Problem Resolution - The few times issues arose, concerns were dealt with immediately.
Design
Design - Unbelievable! They really cared that the design met our expectations and matched the period of the home.

Overall a good experience. Communication was generally good and the end product was beautiful. Our complaint has to do with the financials. Namely an unexpected change order bill that was not well communicated. Changes were offered without an explanation of what the cost increases would be. The costs were higher than anticipated

On time, on budget, extremely responsive to issues, completed project looks great, and everything still working long after they packed up (neatly) and left. That's pretty much all I want in a builder. Sure, we had some glitches and a misunderstanding or two but each time the problem was promptly addressed. They are definitely more expensive than other builders but we knew that going in.

Areas Of Satisfaction - BB have excellent communicators and nearly always do what they say, when they say for the amount they agreed to. In the rare instances where they aren't able to to do something they agreed to, they are proactive in letting me know and proposing a plan for recovery.
