yes I would but Id also point out the details to questions 9 and 11
I wouldn’t recommend this company. Every step of the way was a nightmare.
Blusky
I don't usually write reviews but in this case I think I will. We had hail damage. A lot of hail damage. I had never seen hail like this before. I called the insurance company and they recommended Blusky as a prefered contractor. I feel this was a good move. They came right away out and basically took over, wrote the estamites and turned into the insurance company and started the process.
In stepped Scott Kaplan project manager and avid Trekky!
We were all standing out in the rain going over the whole job scope. I felt is was a huge job as I have a lot of roofs but was assured that Blusky handles much much bigger jobs than this one! I felt that everything was going to be ok after talking with Scott. I thank you Scott for your help and expertise. I feel we have become friends through all of this. I especially enjoyed our last meeting. Sitting out at the fire pit in the cool morning sipping our coffee.
If he is the caliber of people you hire I can see why your company is successful.
As I close I just wanted to say thanks again and I am looking forward to that trip on the USS Enterprise that you promised me!
You can just beam me up , take us to ramming speed and get us to the edge of the galaxy at warp factor 9 right now.
Thanks again for all you do and I hope we can get together sometime.
I still would like to go on board an air craft carrier!

I liked how well they worked with AAA.
I highly recommend BluSky Restoration. From our first point of contact with JC Buckley, who answered his phone on a Saturday of a holiday weekend, to working with Anthony Costelli, our project manager, to Patrice who showed early each morning to work with his team, and to Skylar ringing me to ensure I understood all details of our invoice, each person embodies care and compassion not just for their quality of work but even more so, for the client they are serving. Thank you for your attention to detail and exceptional communication skills from start to finish. No unforeseen accident is ever desired; however, the team that took on our project made us feel like the most important priority.
Worst experience ever. Their crew came to do our shingles while we were out of town and when we came back home there were various beer cans thrown on the ground and large uncovered portions of our roof left exposed. That night, a big rainstorm came in which caused water to leak through those uncovered parts. Management was awful at communicating and they took months to get back to us despite their crew drinking on the job. After several months of going back and forth we finally got out of our contract with them. When a new roofing company came to finish their job, they pointed out major flaws in BlueSky's work. Needless to say, I would NEVER recommend anyone use this company. Most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with.
BluSky was a recommended vendor through our Home Insurance, so we trusted that. We should have done our research.
What started as a simple floor replacement turned into a complete bathroom renovation taking nearly a year-and-a-half to complete. Our project started in June 2022. It's currently January 2024 and BluSky still hasn't completed their sign-off paperwork nor brought the insurance checks for signature.
Our first Project Manager was fired for doing nothing on their projects. We went months without hearing from them.
Subcontractors did shoddy work.
BluSky failed to do asbestos and lead testing prior to demoing the walls (due to subcontractor's shoddy work), so we had an emergency evacuation of our home until test results came back. Our family lived in a hotel room for a week, and our pets in a kennel.
Constant promises of work to be completed, but never put on the schedule for workers to come out.
I can go on and on about the project and BluSky's shortcomings, but just don't have the time or energy to do so. We are so incredibly glad they are out of our house and will never utilize this company ever again.
Super fast and professional!
I will recommend to friends and family.

Without hesitation. Please see Google Blusky appraisal.
I was happy with the work that they were able to complete.
The contractors that they hired, without our approval. Hi my dad, screwed up everything they touched. We had to have stuff re-done, and we’re still living with things that are not near the equal of what we had. The finish on the new kitchen cabinets is terrible and even blue skies on people from St. Louis had no interest in fixing it. Our kitchen backsplash had to be tiled over because it was so bad. The middle size bathroom had to be completely redone in the tile and such because they did such a horrible job.
No. Took entirely too long to complete the work. Agreed upon schedules were cancelled numerous times.
While the work done was satisfactory, the lack of communication made dealing with Blusky very difficult and frustrating. I would not want anyone else to go through this.
Scott was great to work with. He kept me informed through the process and completed tasks he told me he would complete weekly
They did a good job.
The services I received above and beyond. The employees were super helpful and nice. Just AWESOME!!!!
Very professional job. Highly Recommended
Blu Sky was the best contractor we’ve ever worked with our 20 years of home ownership. The communication was solid with email updates from Scott on what was accomplished the past week and the plan for the following week. Scott also initiated text messages or phone calls when anything needed to be discussed.
Outstanding workmanship and professionalism!
Very professional. Great communication. Highly recommend!
Excellent customer service and fast and friendly installer.
Great at communicating before, during, and after the whole process!
Never! Four months and work still not completed.
Friendly, trust-worthy, professional.
Mitigation crew was prompt and attentive, but getting the reconstruction work started took two months and a lot of hassle. The crew they finally sent out was great, though, and did a fine job.
Need English speaking person at start of job
The first guys that came over were knowledgeable, but one of them broke the sink in the process of banging around. We didn’t realize until we were doing dishes & there was water everywhere. Then their dehumidifier was leaking water everywhere. Then crew members tried to flush drywall & nails down our toilet. We found nails everywhere, including in our living room, kitchen, and in the drive way inches from a tire. Granite was supposed to be taken care of & stores but instead it’s propped up by 2x4’s & paper towels; one 2x4 isn’t even touching the ground. Huge slab of granite barely propped up & a 3 year old in the house. They also left a chunk of granite up with nothing but latex from the paint & glue. That could have fallen. Very disappointed with the lack of care we have received.
Very pleased working with Victor and Chris
Your job isn’t complete yet. Why are you surveying?
They charged my insurance $1000 for a poorly done board up on my house that had a fire. They are thieves.
For this project I specifically re-hired Blusky because they did such a fantastic job on the original project from several years ago!
The team at BluSky we very friendly, helpful, courteous, hardworking, and on time. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.
Scott was simply a great guy. A professional and provided the most superb customer service experience, possible. He had 6 brothers and sisters as managers (+ my dad) and of course who don’t agree on anything (most of the time). I was originally assigned to manage the project for the family but being the youngest of 6, my brothers and sisters basically took over as they still treat me as the youngest/ RUNT. Haha.
Come to find out little brother has more design experience than all of them put together.
My point is Scott rolled w: all the changes in many decisions. Some projects had already been completed (like the bar) then Dad noticed the new bar height was lower than the original. Scott was cool 😎’once again’ and flowed w/ us and had the bar raised immediately.
Thank you for your patience w/ my amazing family Scott. It was a tough time w/ mom passing just in January. The basement looks even better than it did before. Everything is so clean and fresh w: furniture set (another shout out for Scott. Scott was kind enough to even send Travis over to help move furniture. Travis was a great kid and a pleasure as well).
Only thing I’m not crazy about is the color of the walls. I wanted clean “white”. Dad wanted the original outdated “ugly peach” and he got it!!! Thank gosh I won on the white walls in my bedroom!!!!!! That was a big win.
Blusky is lucky to have Scott as part of their tre however I’m sure you know that already. He a hard worker and a smart worker who makes it happen. I give Scott 5 Gold Stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Will never recommend you. I will contact USAA and let them know about your company's unprofessionalism.
Additional Comments - Really appreciated the quick responses and follow up!
We were very pleased with results, but company was slow responding to project due to backlog of other work.
I am very dissatisfied with the Blusky and would not recommend them. They did a good job with the mold mitigation in March 2023, but it is now May, and I am still waiting for them to begin the reconstruction. We haven't had a ceiling in our living room for 2 months.
They did an excellent job of matching the color of my siding and installing it. I would highly recommend this company if you have any work to be done
Areas Of Satisfaction - The guys were total pros, cautious, thorough, and treated my house like it was their own.
I would never recommend this company again.
Great communication. Efficient and professional.
Additional Comments - The workers were friendly and cooperative and courteous.
Project Director Updates - I hear from Scott Kaplan on a weekly basis. He would also stop by the office to check on each phase of the job.
Areas Of Satisfaction - Contractors supporting this effort (Gary Casey, Tyrone Dixon, Scott Bradshaw) worked independently and with little direction required. Much appreciated.
