This is a hard one. When speaking with the team at Blue Sky, everyone was helpful and courteous but when it came down to actually getting the work completed, that’s where we had problems. The jobs would consistently and constantly be moved back. No shows, or mis communications. We felt like we had to self advocate for ourselves a lot instead of Blue Sky holding our hand through the process. Near the end of the project when we were close to having a kitchen back with a working stove, etc. we got so tired of waiting for someone to come, that my husband took matters into his own hands and moved the oven himself and finished the painting and some electrical work on our island. It took us a whole Saturday to get done, that which should have been done by Blue Sky. The one thing I see that needs addressing is they spread themselves out WAY to thin that instead of focusing on getting a job done they work on more jobs than they can complete and everyone is left waiting, even for smaller/simpler jobs. (Too many irons in the fire) Not to mention: PLEASE DONT LEAVE THE PLASTIC CARPET PROTECTION WRAP ON CARPET LONGER THAN ITS SHELF LIFE-IT CAUSED MORE DAMAGE THAN HELPED IT!!! We have come to learn there is a time limit to that plastic or it adheres to the carpet. I had new carpet and after 3 months of being on there, it was devastating to have it have to be ripped off and leave residue. The cleaning of the carpet helped a lot, but it will never be perfect like it was before the plastic was placed down. That was a BIG frustration! But the saving grace of the experience was the politeness and courteous demeanor of all those we spoke with at a blue Sky.
Went from Thursday night till Monday morning with no one to check floor. Was told it would be checked everyday.
I have had BluSky for more than 1 time and every time the work done is great! That's why I look to BluSky for keeping my house beautiful, comfortable, and safe.
I already received this email and left a review. It is even more of a testament to the disorganization of this company that I am not receiving a second email survey. From one business owner to another, you really need to get yourselves together over there.
Adam and John took the time to properly assess the work that needed to be done and communicated that to us and to our insurance company. Taquan and crew did a great job of demoing and cleaning up the affected areas. Kyle and Jeff came in and made all the necessary repairs, leaving the place looking great.
Everything went well and I will tell anyone who ask me who did the job I will be happy to give blusky name and tell them to give you a call plus Justin took care of anything I wanted taken of he did good job very good assistent
Very timely response even when it involved a holiday
I wrote a complete review and you chose to ignore it!
Blue sky cleaned up and repaired after our minor flooding. It took the worries off our shoulders.
I would definitely recommend BluSky.
Bill Pacelia accommodated my every need. He worked with my schedule, and everything was done on time.
It would depend on the scope of the work required, and the timeframe for completion.
At this stage of the project, with the project not even started, other than the emergency repair, I am not impressed with their customer interaction. This company was chosen because of a recommendation from a friend-I have told this individual I’m very unimpressed by this company’s customer service. Perhaps it will be adjusted once the repair is actually started. Plus it is very unsatisfactory that there are too many levels of chiefs to deal with before any actual work is even started. ONE manager handling the project is more than enough. I prefer a more family oriented business, those seem to be more conscience of the person that needs their services, not just a number on a worksheet-as most large corporations observe their bottom line with a number and the next number to come.
They were very prompt and was very professional
The process was positive and professional. Blusky remained on top of any issue that came up and communicated very well.
This is a great company
WHAT WAS NOT TO LIKE THEY DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB FOR US VERY PROFESSIONIAL
I liked how well they worked with AAA.
Hands down the worst restoration vendor I have ever had the displeasure of working with (in 30+ year in community and property management). No project management or crew oversight and abysmal scheduling practices. And this is in their capacity as an approved vendor of Farmers Insurance's Guaranteed Repair Program. Right, guaranteed to be the worst managed vendor you will ever deal with.
The project superintendentThe pr was a pleasure to work with. He addressed all my concerns and went above and beyond most expectations. The project took longer than anticipated due to several factors, one being no workers available.
Everyone was easy to deal and Blusky did fantastic work
Dana, Mark, and Kendall were very professional and put me at ease by answering all my questions through the mitigation process. Each of the gentlemen mentioned above were prompt in answering my calls and scheduling call outs to keep the process moving smoothly. This process so far has been way less stressful than it could be due to the professionalism of Dana, Mark, and Kendall and their team. They were minimally invasive in the main area of our home and performed their work quickly and efficiently. I appreciate all of them.
Excellent experience
I'd recommend with caution. The work is great. Just make sure they keep to deadlines and keep good communication should there be delays.
Our first experience with restoration and it was beneficial to have someone knowledgeable and patient with the process such as our Project Director, Dan Dahlquist.
Staff was very professional and understanding of my needs.
Workers did a good job, however, the Project Mgr. didn't disclose that my call was consider an "emergency". Naturally we were wanting to get basement done asap, however, it wasn't an emergency to us at the cost of $160+ . Which is a ridiculous amt of money for a call. Also the figures weren't correct (we kept detailed notes), and I'm glad we did because of errors. They did take off $265 for error. We just thought more disclosure regarding expenses should have been done. We understand about person on the phone estimating info./general info. Still expensive and possibly taking advantage of a situation.
Blu Sky was a pleasure to work with. The employees were pleasant knowledgable, and professional I would use them again if the need arises. I will recommend them to others.
You did part 1of restoration and then ghosted me. Very unprofessional.
From beginning to end it was grade A!
From start to finish, I was always kept up to date on project status and next steps. The work was done in a timely manor and the quality was exceptional.
The work quality was horrible. Most I had to redo/hire someone else to be redone. The project manager, did not manage and had floors stained that should not have been and the whole project took over a month when I was only meant to be out of my house for one week.
Quickly addressed our concerns. Stillman is the man. Matt was great as well.
They were quick to respond when we had a problem and were at the house within one hour. They did such a great job demolishing our project we hired them for the restoration portion.
Our experience was horrible and could’ve been avoided!
BluSky has been wonderful to work with! They have assisted us with our fire mitigation and have always been very professional, work with my family and have great communication skills. They keep us up to date on every aspect of our project. They have been better at communication than our current insurance company and claims adjuster who does not communicate at all. I would highly recommend!
I highly recommend BluSky Restoration. From our first point of contact with JC Buckley, who answered his phone on a Saturday of a holiday weekend, to working with Anthony Costelli, our project manager, to Patrice who showed early each morning to work with his team, and to Skylar ringing me to ensure I understood all details of our invoice, each person embodies care and compassion not just for their quality of work but even more so, for the client they are serving. Thank you for your attention to detail and exceptional communication skills from start to finish. No unforeseen accident is ever desired; however, the team that took on our project made us feel like the most important priority.
Workmanship is subpar at best.
At this point I won't recommend. I feel taken advantage of
BluSky responded very fast and worked very well with us! They maintained great communication during the process.
My husband's died at home in bed and they came in afterwards for clean up. He had been in the room probably for a week The smell was bad. They came the same day I called them took the mattress and the blankets that were on the bed. They did leave some pillows and blankets that were around the mattress and those we had to put in the dumpster because it smell never left them. They also cut out to sections of carpeting instead of cleaning them. I will not be able to sell the house without replacing all of the carpeting in that room. I wish they would have tried to clean the the very small spots rather than cutting them out. I was surprised at the cost It seemed like a lot and they were only at the house less than an hour. For odor for multiple days they did leave a machine.
I have already recommended BluSky to a neighbor.
Yes, most of the work was great and professional.
I would like to say a big THANKYOU to Bruce, Ryan, Zack and Kyle. These guys are the tops and very professional. Follow up was fantastic and always showed up on time! They set the standards for others to follow. Excellent!!!
They have not finished the work. It’s been a full year now.
I am satisfied with the services offered and completed. Communication about price and follow up could have been better.
They were fast, responsive, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Competitive to!
Mold came back within a month. Called BluSky to let them know and they requested pictures and then they never got back to me.
I was very pleased with the first solution.
Blusky was very easy to work with. Very concerned about the outcome. Explained why and how they would fix the problem
