Blyss Construction installed new exterior siding & windows for our home along with an extensive renovation of our upper and lower outside decks. Their work was outstanding . . . high quality craftsmanship and materials and the multi-phase project was completed on schedule by Vitaliy and sons (the primary crew). One small, but very important detail for clients, was Yuriy K (project manager) or Serge (project manager/foreman) or Yuriy B, (the owner) would answer the phone or call back timely whenever we had a question or request. Furthermore, Yuriy Blyshchyk (the owner) backed up the company’s reputation for high quality work and high standards with action (not just words), even when it meant replacing an expensive beam that was different than the contract called for (which had been mistakenly delivered & installed). I would like to give a 5-star review, because the workmanship was excellent. But the job started late, materials arrived late, workmen showed up on one day but not the next (they were at another job site), communication could have been so much better, and the job dragged on for weeks and weeks. The roof subcontractor was definitely not a plus - I had to call Blyss' salesman & job manager to convince them that they were supposed to replace the roofs on both the house and garage, and had I not been there, only the roof on the house would have been removed on tear-off day. It was obvious that they were overbooked and understaffed, and it really affected the timeline of my home renovation. I hardly knew from week to week what day they would be coming.
