Great to work with. They know what they are doing and are very customer oriented. We had a sliding patio door replaced and they replaced some our window screens previously installed by them at no extra cost. They have done our siding, windows, new roof and gutters, and other services.
I would never use Bordner again or recommend Bordner to anyone. I would strongly warn everyone against hiring Bordner. As will my insurance company.
Very expensive for a two hour job.
I asked for a call back after the project was completed. I never received the call. I also emailed the individual that sent me pictures of the project and did not hear back from him either. I went with Bordner because they had a good reputation. They did not care about my satisfaction with the project.
My salesman, Jacob Baggs came to my house for the first time in August. My roof and gutters were not put on until December. Due to the damage on my roof, Jacob recommended that another company work on the internal damage before Bordners put the roof on. he recommended GT custom Remodeling. Jacob said that they do a great job and called one of the owners Terry Ogle while he was here. Jacob said that they work together all of the time and after Terry completed the prep work, Bordner would finish with the roof. Terry came out and surveyed the situation. everything seem to be going fine. I wasn’t hearing back from GT. Custom Remodeling about the date to do the job. I started calling weekly just to see how far out they were going to schedule me. I could not get an answer from them. They continued to tell me that they would let me know when they could get to my job, but they never did. I was not getting any help at all from Bordner’s during this situation. I called Jacob and asked him to help speed up the process and it never happened. I had a huge tarp on my roof with a hole in it big enough for a person to crawl into. Two times I had to pay $200 for other workmen to replace the tarp due to it blowing off from high winds and storms. Bordners and GT were in no hurry to help me get it done in a timely manner. I continued to call weekly to see when GT could get me scheduled. Terry finally told me that the only way he was going to put me on the schedule was if I paid half of his fee upfront. by this time, I was so desperate to get my roof on that I said I would do it. He said that his part of the fee would be a total of $3083. I had to pay half upfront and the other half immediately on the completion of his work. my insurance had not approved his part of the job. I paid him half of his fee and then he still would not put me on his schedule. I called him to ask when my job would be done because winter was moving in. He called me back and we had a very heated conversation for at least 20 minutes. He told me to quit calling and bothering him and that he would let me know when he could do the job. I told him that I gave him the money he asked for and the least he could do is put me on the schedule. it was a very ugly situation and he talked to me in a very condescending way the entire conversation. He finally sent two of his workers to do the job and I paid the final part of the payment when they finish. I never got any help in this process from borderers. I was left to be the project manager on my own. I continually called Bordners and Jacob to orchestrate the process of putting on my roof and gutters. I firmly believe that if I was not proactive, I would still be sitting here with no roof and gutters. it was December before I finally finished getting my roof and gutters. I called Bordner several times and complained about the way I was being treated by GT. Several different people that I talk to told me they were taking notes and sending them to their bosses to make sure that GT was not used in the future, but I’m not sure that that happened
Work done quickly and reporting with imaging so helpfull
Very courteous and professional personnel. Charges are high but you have to pay these days for acceptable workmanship.
Probably not
They were very professional and proved an excellent end product.
Experience was Soso, they had to come back several times because they didn't check if something was broken before they came up here.
Had 16 inches of insulation added by Donnie and Zion outstanding job
Fast quick everything turn out nice love our new bathrooms
Found the problem and fixed it
The door opening was measured incorrectly the first time which resulted in us receiving unpainted trim to paint ourselves. I was disappointed at the cost, relative to the final look of the product. We were unable to provide keys to get matching sets with the rest of the house doors (or pay $500 extra for a special lock). There is an ugly brown metal strip at the bottom on the inside that doesn't blend well with all the surrounding colors, which I was unaware about beforehand.
Bordner was our go to when our home was constructed about 15 years ago. They have been very responsive for any issues we have had over the years.
Considering the band of workers left 43 nails on the grass sparling in the sunlight in the areas they worked at, no I will never recommend this company. Most were old rusty nails, but a construction magnet (such as my husband used) should have been used to clean up this worksite. I knew the original owner and he would never have tolerated this behavior. The men did not clean up or they would have used a magnet to find all nails. These nails could have flown up in our faces later during mowing or weed eating. So, you want good recommendations, get your act together, new owners and train or supervise your underlings better in their sloppy work habits. The one person working by himself was probably fine, but again, no responsibility for the others carelessly leaving their worksite in a dangerous- to- the homeowner completion. We turned the bag of nails into the company.
Bordner did outstanding work on my stucco job. The workers were friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend them to anyone needing work on their home.
We chose Bordner because we’d used you before and the process was so easy but not this time. The work done was excellent but the communication was horrendous, took nearly four months to get a final bill. I constantly had to call you guys to get things moving I still to this day have no paperwork to prove anything ever happened. Just very unprofessional on the communication end of things, which was stressful to say the least. In addition the people you hired to haul away the old roof did around a thousand dollars damage to my yard, which they half heartedly repaired. Just not a good experience on our end. So glad it’s over.
Bordners did our roof about 8 years ago so we didn’t hesitate to call them when we needed some windows replaced. It was an easy and great experience from beginning to end.
I was very happy with Bordner. From start to finish they made my experience easy, efficient and quick! I can't say enough about the 2 project managers, Mark and Lucas. Both very knowledgeable and professional. Alreafy recommended them to family and friends!
Mic, the roofing consultant and the other coworkers involved in the project were very patient and informative.
Bordner is timely and thorough.
Smooth process, careful work, went the extra mile for a finished looking project. I would definitely use them again! Very professional.
Very easy to work with. When a shower shelf got left off of the original order in error, Bordner hustled and got it for on time installation at no extra cost to me.
I was very happy with everyone involved in my roof repair.
