TBH, there were some problems with the install. The owner contacted me and provided a few hundred dollars back to me for my trouble. The issues were in the gutter guards, eave vent screens, garage vent; little things that were obvious fairly quickly. The small things not being done right has made me anxious that the big things that cannot be seen, like the integrity of the roof deck, underlayment, and shingle install, may have issues as well. CV has agreed to come out after we get some good rains in the winter to check the attic for leaks.It seems that I got a new crew of workers, or something like that. I don’t think the issue is the quality of the materials, instead it is how they were installed/ not installed properly. CV came highly recommended, and the sales staff were very professional and did a detailed contract, so I signed with them. Their estimate was competitive. The on site manager was good, and worked to address the issues. But he did not catch things, that maybe he should have, trusting his crew to do it right. So I am not sure if I can say I would recommend them, will have to wait and see what happens with the roof after the first big rains.

Our salesperson was great. The two fellows who actually did the work were great. The supervisor was not very responsive when we needed him. Overall, we are happy with the experience and the work performed. We are still waiting for our first serious rain. This is California, where it doesn't rain from May to October!

I had my roof and new gutters completed by Cal-Vintage just last week. From the start with Tony Polisso, Jr. through the final walk-through with Martin I was impressed. Tony explained the entire process from start to finish patiently, answered my questions expertly, and I never felt like he was trying to sell me anything. The work crew were my favorite. Each day they were prompt, courteous, clean, and even picked up some trash that wasn't theirs. The workmanship was incredible. It looks like a new house. Martin came by to check in with me and took some pictures of the top of the roof so I didn't have to climb up there myself. I'm a single, female homeowner and was terrified about this project, but Cal-Vintage made it smooth. The company is worth it. I've already recommended them to someone else looking for a roof.

Reroofing is expensive! So I wasn't going to pick any company or "chuck with a truck." After vetting a half-dozen businesses, Cal-Vintage met all my requirements and more. Tony Polisso not only answered all my questions, but he also gave me tips on things I should look for from roofing companies during the vetting process. After signing the paperwork, he walked me through the entire process, and again before the project started both Valerie and Brent walked me through the tentative schedule and process. When I mistakenly took the building permit paperwork inside my house, meant for the building inspector, Martin worked to resolve the missed scheduled inspection (an A+ effort)! He availed himself of any questions I had. All in all, this is the most stress-free housing project. I'm happy I chose Cal-Vintage, and highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a stress-free, roofing project. They are one of the best roofers in Sacramento!

When we decided to start our re-roofing project on our home in Fair Oaks, Cal-Vintage was one of four bids we received from local companies. While Cal-Vintage was not the lowest bid, we decided to use them because of the quality of their product they use, along with the expertise and history of their company. I was most happy with when they did get started on the work. It wasn't their fault. They were held up because of the weather. Everyone knew what their job was. They introduced themselves and then got to work. If I ever had a question there was always someone there to answer it for me. I would recommend them to friend or family.

The knowledgeable staff and workers of Cal- Vintage have been a blessing for our old (44 year old) roof. From tear- off, patching of holes in plywood sheathing, to new gutters, everything on the roof looks great. Any questions or issues were quickly addressed and resolved.
