A quick response and very knowledgeable
I would not recommend purchasing the extended warranty. On 3/3/23 (Saturday) we called Rosner’s extended warranty company to report the door to our 4yr old Whirlpool oven door would not close which meant the oven could not be used. The person we spoke to said we had to take a picture and provide all the warranty info which we did. Never heard back from the warranty person. Called again Monday 3/5/23 and gave all the details to another person at the warranty company who advised that he did not have any technician on his list available to help us at this time. He would contact someone above him for assistance. Two days passed and no response from the warranty company so we called a local appliance repair technician who fixed the oven door Friday morning but it cost us $369. On Saturday S3/10/23, we received a phone message from Sears repair that a technician would be coming to our house on 3/20/23. We canceled that appointment
Recently my model 900 55 inch television died.I and needefound out that the TV was unfixable
Was really into doing what we were explaining about what needed to be done.
Very professional
The Tech was prompt, quick and did a great job plus was friendly. Hope he comes again if I ever one. Thanks.
Centricity was difficult to get in touch with. They made me jump through hoops to get my machine repaired!
Excellent program
Claim was processed i a timely man
I will definitely read the fine print on these in the future I've never used a warranty program before and me paying and reimbursing was unexpected but at least they were quite quick about issuing the payment
I contacted Centricity (or EPIC -- not sure which) via phone # 866-883-3486 to request a consolidated bid covering our wall oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and ice maker -- all purchased at the same time at Alexander and Rays. The agent was unable to even find where we had insured the fridge and d/w. Odd since we had just had a service call for the fridge. I was referred on to 888-973-7166, only tl learn the was a claims office not involved with sales. Again, another call to the 3486 number. I think the could find the other appliances, but no way to consolidate billings. I plan to try one more time to insure the fridge and ice maker, but am not too hopeful.
The salesman was attentive and there was virtually no or little delay in helping me get with the people that could further help me. The warranty dept, was also fast and helpful in settling any and all concerns.
Not only would I not recommend you but I am actively telling everyone i know including my management company of over 150 buildings to never use you again
I called April 7, 2023 about a icemaker that was no longer working. After a few days they showed up and had to order parts after a few more days a week two weeks they showed up and worked on it. It has not is still not fixed to this day and the service center that came so that they can no longer work on it and referred it to someone else. They came and looked at it and said they don’t know what’s wrong with it and they’re going to order parts and to this day June 30 it’s still not fixed still waiting for for parts to come in. I’m waiting for our icemaker to be fixed.
You will waste more time than its worth, just trying to get them to pay a claim.
The service was quick and efficient at first, but when a problem arose, resolving the problem became a problem that took a lot of repeated calls to make progress on.
Would never consider recommending Centricity. In fact I'd warn everybody to avoid Centricity at all cost.
The Service Technician, Eddie, was excellent!
Every one was very polite, but as seen below, my problem was not addressed until I waited the 48 hours with no response and called back.
Reassuring to have it.
Although Centricity came through on their end and paid out Grand appliance for a replacement dishwasher, I have yet to receive a dishwasher. Grand appliance is horrible I have sent several emails as well as phone calls and nobody calls me back.
They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When I contacted Centricity they explained to me that they fulfilled their part of the contract by paying out Grand. As far as I'm concerned they have not because I paid Centricity a fee to ensure I had a dishwasher repaired or replaced and I do not. It has been 2 months. It should be Centricity's obligations to follow through with Grand if they are not producing.
Worst warrenty experience possible, no communication and 6 week timeline to make decision repair was more than value.
Centricity made one repair to my washer in 3 years and refused without reason to offer an extended warranty. The only reason to buy appliances from Bray and Scarf as opposed to Home Depo or other competitors is the availability of reliable extended warranty coverage. Very disappointing since the manufacturer’s extended warranty is pricey and inconvenient garbage.
The communication of scheduling is very closed. You just hope someone will show up.
Make it visual and more open.
Why would recommend someone to experience the same terrible experience which Zi had. No way.
There was some small miscon
Technician was very good.
bad service will never recommend Centricity
I have been pleased with the responsiveness to situations concerning my products.
Nope! Already had one family member just buy their appliance elsewhere that uses a different warranty provider.
The repairman was very good. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and the actual repair was also completed in under a half hour.
I had to do all communication between bray and scarf and repair company-not good
Have not had ice since the week before Thanksgiving. Using old fashioned ice trays
Our appliance stopped working just before thanksgiving. After multiple service appointments it still doesn’t work. That’s 6 months and counting. This is beyond disappointing.
Been waiting months and still not fixed - we keep having to call them back
Terrible service
Made good on the promise of the program with no hassles.
Months after requesting warranty service, I found out machine is goinyto be replaced. I only found this out be
We own a body shop. We wash and dry cars after repairs are completed. That's our towel use. We purchased a stackable washer and dryer. One month before a year was up it died. At the end of December. Holidays. Lovely. 1st serv. call repair man went to my home, not the business. (address confusion between Grand Appliance and you.) New repair date. One week later. Same thing - goes to wrong address. Another week goes by. Repair man goes to the correct address. It's our business. We wash towels there. That's it. Not customers, employees, just shop towels. Grand Appliance KNEW when they sold and delivered it where it was going and what for. Your repairman checks out the washer and tells us he knows what's wrong and what parts we need. But he also reports back that in his opinion we are using it for commercial purposes which voids the warranty. This is complete garbage and we all know it. This gets tossed around for about 10 days. Ok. Fine. If the regular warranty wont cover this my extended warranty kicks in, in days. Nope, that won't cover it either. It's a PRE EXISTING CONDITION!!!!! Kiss my......
Service has never resolved problems that continue to occur with the GE Profile dishwasher I purchased -in all my years I have never been so unhappy with an appliance let alone one that was so expensive.
Once I needed to use the policy, I was shifted around from department to department they could not find me in the system had to contact grand appliance, and have them mediate a to get a service scheduled after that everything went fairly smooth. Make sure you are in both systems and you get it in writing from both parties otherwise, you are going to go through a hurdle of issues before getting service which could take weeks maybe several months keep calling don’t wait for anyone to call you get everything in writing or else service will be delayed.
Months later and door to fridge is still broken
It took 51 days, 15 phone calls, speaking to a dozen representatives to have claim settled and receive my cash settlement.
I don’t like the extra step of calling a claim center to get my claim approved instead of just calling my local center for repair.
We love Dan our salesperson. When we called and he wasn't working that day, the person who answered the phone was not helpful.
This extended warranty did not honor its commitment and denied our warranty claim all due to rodent feces.
I have had problems with this washer since purchase. The spin cycle was very strong. The first technician (FROM AIRPORT)did a thorough check on the machine, gave me hints on how to load it properly and it worked well for a while but I was still limited to using the lowest setting for the spin cycle. The second time I called (FROM TH WARRANTY) because the spin had gotten more and more vibration and noise, I was simply told to unplug the machine, wait 30 seconds and re-plug it in. This would fix the spin cycle. This worked for a while although I thought it was an absurd way to “fix” the problem. I put no clothing in the washer that could tangle up (i.e. none of my or my husbands slacks or jeans) which was a nuisance. But the spin cycle got noisier and noisier and vibration so intense I had to push against the washer in the final spin. The third technician (FROM THE WARRANTY)came, discovered the floor was uneven, re-adjusted the legs on the washer and it now works for the entire cycle and I can wash slacks and jeans as well with the other items. WHY DID NOT THE EALIER TECHNICIANS NOTICE THAT THE PROBLEM WAS THE LEVELING OF THE MACHINE? THIS HAS TAKEN OVER FOUR YEARS TO CORRECT!
Repairs took an extremely long time to be completed. We waited for over 2 months for parts to arrive and then when they came in another part of the stove was broken during the repair. Our control panel was broken and we couldn’t use the oven properly for another month.
I waited a month, was sent the wrong computer and when I got mine back it wasn't fixed.
Was very confusing. Centricity would transfer me to LG and LG would tell me I needed to speak with Centricity.
