Champion did a good job but, there were some issues, in timing and man power, leaving empty bottles and debris in the yard
Though my door is beautiful it is MISSING THE DENTAL SHELF! I have tried numerous times to get someone to help me but it seems as though that since you have my money and delivered a door (though not correctly) I don't matter any longer!
High quality, good people.
I have all good things to say about my new 3-season room! Already love it. Had coffee there this morning while reading a devotional. Tom did a great job. Very meticulous and cleaned up well including vacuuming the bits of stuff in the grass! Sliding glass door works great as well as the windows.
I sill feel the door is not a quality product. We can still see some light coming through the side on the handle where the weather stripping was cut too short in the factory.
I was very pleased with the date of installation. It was sooner then the date quoted me. They are beautiful and the installation crew was excellent. They left my house cleaner in them it was before they started. The crew answered all of my questions and were very professional.
I currently have unresolved issues, so I am not able to agree to this statement.
This was the worst experience I've ever had with home improvement. There are so many issues with the installation and now I'm waiting more than a month for these issues to be addressed. And I'm told one, quite important issue, will not be addressed at all.
The first process of having the sales person come to my house went pretty smoothly, but when it came to the final schedule it all went down hill.
I love the windows and the installation went smoothly.
Team was quiet and very organized. Polite, let me watch and question.
It was very easy. They were on time and in and out in no time. Cleaned up when done.
Very pleased with the windows and Matt's crew
The night before my install I received a call saying that my time slot for install would have to be pushed back till 11 from my 8 o’clock slot because something came up for the contractor, no problem. Well 11 comes and no contractor shows up so I call champion to see what’s going on and the said they are not sure and going to call the contractor. They call back and said that the contractor wont be there now till 1. At that point I’m mad because I could of worked a half day instead of taking the whole day off work. Well 1 o’clock comes and still no contractor show up so I called again at 1:15 to see what’s going on and they told me that they won’t be there now till 3. At that point I’m really mad because now I could have worked a whole day and not burned a day of my vacation sitting around. The contractor finally shows up at 3:30 and they did their job and was in and out with in 2 hours. I called my sales man and told him something needs to be done about this and that I just wasted a whole day sitting around waiting for the contractor to show up when I could have worked and made money, and as of today I still have not heard from him.
Definitely
Installation was easy. Done within a day. Beautiful windows and ease of cleaning them.
I am not pleased with the screen placed in under my balcony. This does not keep hugs out as I was told
We have had a great experience with Champion Windows from the salesman, Brady, who was great, to the person who came and measured our windows, to the installers who did a great job.
I love, love my Champion windows!
Price is a little to expensive.
The door arrived and was installed damaged. When I asked about the replacement was told 3 months
Where do I start? So many things wrong with the order. Then we’re told you can’t have half screens on those windows. Then we were told That the window division couldn’t be 7030. It had to be 6040 all this after they installed it. They installed the wrong sliding door. They gave us an extra pillar instead of two large pieces of glass. We have three smaller ones. All they did was tell me how expensive it was because I had large glass and then they put in something like that.
We are enjoying our new sunroom very much. We are pleased with the quality of work by Ty Pritchard, our builder, and the material used.
From sale to install, very professional
My first experience with the sales person, the installation, and the product (sliding door) was great! So I invited Champion over again and purchased another door. A VERY expensive door, which does not seem to be insulated and is very light and not sturdy. The window panels are cold in the winter and seems drafty. The installer was training a new guy who messed up my bathroom for his personal use.
Very unprofessional wend trying to address concerns of customer with no resolution to quote it is what it is from management
We are very happy with the siding project just completed on our home. The workmanship is excellent, the finished product is exactly what we anticipated it to be, and we believe the added value was worth the investment we made by selecting Champion to complete the project for us.
For replacement windows I would definitely recommend
As of right now we are missing screens, loose trim around windows and lack of caulking around windows. The job is incomplete but they continue everyday to ask for a final payment
Windows are high quality and help me save on utility bills. No more drafts in my 1919 home and it is quieter! You can’t beat the lifetime warranty. My neighbor has their windows & I saw Champion stand by their product and service their windows years after purchasing them. I highly recommend Champion.
Excellent service, installer was respectful, diligent and timely. Highly recommend!
The salesman, Camille, was so nice and worked with us to meet our budget. The wait was a bit longer than expected (ordered late November/early December) but we were okay with it given the anticipated quality of the windows and the need for the upgrade.
Once the windows were ready and we received the call to set up installation, they literally offered to install next day but I pushed it out a week since I’d need to take off work. They provided us a 2 hour delivery window of 8:00am to 10:00am…installers didn’t show up till 10:45am.
First issue..the trim color I picked didn’t match the house (my bad) and I appreciate that the installers noticed this but instead of bringing it to my attention they chose a different color which was close to our house trim color but was off enough that it was very noticeable and looked more blue than gray. I felt bad asking them to change it to white but they should have spoken to me instead of picking that on their own. I’m the one that’s gotta live with it after all.
Second issue! This was , I’m sure, considered a small job for full house replacement windows, we only have 6 windows in our home. 3 outta 6 windows were missing the decorative grid lines. The factory didn’t catch it, the warehouse didn’t catch it and the installers didn’t mention it before putting the windows in. Also 2 of the screens are damaged and have to be replaced. Now we’re looking at up to 8 weeks for replacement sashes and screens to be made, shipped and installed.
Next day after the installation I walked around to see if I missed any potential issues and now see several. The metal trim around the windows is not flush, which I understand because of siding but there are some pretty significant gaps that could allow rain water in behind the siding and under the window. All that would’ve taken the ensure a water barrier would have been to caulk underneath that trim. Also instead of moving our shutters they crammed that trim underneath them and some are now sitting warped which means the trim isn’t evenly placed around the windows.
Where was the quality inspection? There were so many opportunities for the error to be caught. It’s not like this was something not visible and easily noticeable. Seriously between the 2 screens and 3 windows that’s over a 50% failure on quality. The fact that we have to wait so long for this to be corrected is ridiculous. Yes the windows function (I think since we can’t open or close them for at least 4 days according to the installer) but aesthetically the front of my house looks stupid and will for several months. :(
Very happy with the way everything turned out
Excellent work and the process leading up to it was well managed.
Windows look great. I haven't opened and closed them yet.
Customer service is very important in any business and lack in that field. I wouldn’t recommend the headache.
Prefer your windows and doors.
Advance planning of this installation was excellent - great install team. Left site clean...
Yes. I have recommended Champion to my friends and family.
After the initial consultation and order placement,
I have used champion window in the past and was a repeat customer but after this recent experience with there entry doors I am not likely to recomend them to anyone.
This is the third time we have used Champion Windows, on three separate houses. Have been satisfied in the past.
No
I think these are the best windows out there and worth the price
Did good work and they kept the area clean
yes
The men who installed my windows were very nice and polite. After inspecting the windows four of the windows on the outside have terrible mitered corners! There's at least a 1/8" gap in one of the windows. For $14,000 ( 8 windows ) I would have expected better. What happened to Champion? Once upon a time the company was great. We have spent quite a bit of money over the years. I am ready to contact BBB.
It has been well over a month since I paid to have a glass pane replaced in my sliding door. They claim they called. My cell phone shows no calls.
We were not invited to look at the finished enclosure with the installation crew when they were leaving. All these problems could have been solved before the installation crew departed. I felt deceived.
I would say the windows look great
Personally will recommend Champion Windows to family, friends and anyone who asks.
