I will recommend Champion Windows in the future. In fact I was showing my new windows to a friend that does home repairs and he was very impressed.
Are windows were ordered in March 2024. There were no less than three different men came to the house at different times to measure the windows. We were told our windows would be installed by the end of April 2024. We received a phone call the middle of April and was told our windows would not be installed on the date. So the New installation date was set for July 16, 2024. Installation team arrived Around 11 o’clock in the morningIt was 100+ degrees outside and they tore out all three windows in the back of the house along with The patio door, all exposed to the east sun. They were perplexed That one window looked like it didn’t fit, and lo and behold. It had been mismeasured, not by one person measuring it, but by three men measuring it, So of course, we need to order a new window. There was one man on the job and the rest of the crew came and went as if we were a retail store. After the installation crew Left for that day, I inspected their job and I was left with window chalking all over my wood floors, The trim boards around the outside of the two bedroom and bathroom windows had been broken and the trim around the patio door
looked awful, and they also had scratched and gouged the frame of the patio door. I refused to let that crew finish up the job. A new installer came to The house to correc all of the mistakes of the first team.
We then get an install date in November to have the second bedroom window, picture window for living room put in. installer came and asked me to come out and see My new windows. The second bedroom window frame was all beat up from being in the warehouse for too many days, my picture window. Had been installed in the wrong house taken out of the wrong house and brought to my house. The frame of the window was all beat up and I refused to let either window be installed that day. The mismeasured window still have not been sent from the manufacture in November and it was ordered in July. Finally, I get To get bedroom window, picture window and kitchen window installed on January 7, 2025. I Wish that I had never heard of the company champion windows of Phoenix. And I would never recommend this company.. Oh, did I mention that the glass of the picture window has a flawin it and the company sent it down anyway?
We signed our contract in mid February and were told the windows would be installed within 10 to 12 weeks. We received a partial delivery May 24th. Two windows weren't properly sized and had to be re-ordered. One of the delivered windows had a smudge in between the panes and had to be re-ordered. One window frame wasn't ordered so we have a bedroom window with the "guts" exposed and an eyesore as it faces the street. In mid-July we received a call that the two windows originally improperly sized would be installed on July 29th. On July 28th, not having heard any more I contacted the installation manager to learn the windows had not arrived and he didn't control manufacturing. On 8/9 the two originally improperly sized windows were installed except one had smudges on the bottom and a scratch on the interior pane. On 8/12 we received a text message advising our parts would be shipped on 8/12 and normally take 7 to 10 days to arrive. Accordingly, we are very disappointed and frustrated.
Experience with the company has been good. When my doors arrived at their facility I was contacted and an install date was set around my schedule. The installers were professional and polite. Stucco repair was set for two days later and again the worker were professional and polite. Both crews worked steadily and got the jobs accomplished in good time.
Too much delay. Also they installed broken windows. Also they got different color screens. To replace broken window and screens it took almost 3 months.
Windows are amazing, they did mess up on 1 window and it took them a long time to install it. Felt like we were not a priority.
Looks great, I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner
The head aches aren’t worth the time. If I had known what I was going to experience I would have went another direction.
Product is quality material
Final product is really nice. Communication with Champion left a lot to be desired. We called the corporate office no less than 5 times and asked for a call back from the Phoenix local office to find out the status of our project and never received a call back. I literally thought that Champion Window might be a fake company and I lost my first $9K installment. After I threatened to cancel the project (and lose 20% of my first $9K payment -HAHA) someone finally called me back. After I talked with the gentleman from the Phoenix office, communication finally improved. From the initial measurement until we threatened to cancel it was a full two months with any communication.
The windows are great. The installers were great. Information from salesman through when windows were installed was very poor. Things were not properly explained to me and trying to get a hold of someone to discuss things took days.
Courteous crew. Professional
I’m really recording Chapmion Window and who did installation ( Jose & Jacob )
Absolutely
The project was to include extending the concrete floor another 12 inches at each end to move 4 of the posts outward. This was the plan for several months. I had brought up the concrete to the new project manager when he contacted me two days before the work began. The crew arrived and did the work, but had no plans to pour any concrete or to move the posts. The project was suddenly revised with a new plan claiming that pouring the concrete and extending the posts was unnecessary, so two of the posts were removed and bolts were screwed in to reinforce the roof to the house.
There were also serious communication problems. The project was delayed twice, and it felt like I had to keep following up in order to keep things moving, or to even find out if the crew would show up on a given date.
All windows are installed correctly. The Crew polite and clean up all their stuff.
Love the new windows. Very happy with them
Hard working crew!Wonderful windows!!!!!!!!!!!! Will get more windows in 3 or 4 months!
The windows are good, you get what you pay for, but they have administration issues. Be prepared to be the project manager.
Scheduling and installation did not communicate properly. The reason we paid more and went with champion was so that this wouldn't happen and we wouldn't have to hassle. The other company we were considering weren't bad, were a few grand less, but had some reviews with issues with miscommunication.
No, worst experience we have had with a company that does "custom" work.
They measured 1 window wrong-still waiting for installation-1 window that was installed cracked-my handyman said the windows were not installed properly
Installers were professional and did their work as needed
Installation crew worked so every detail was complete.
My sister in Colorado reommended Champion to me. I found from my first call to installation was done perfectly.
