While I am generally pleased with my dealings with Champion, if windows were not to be used long term by the current owner, cost may be an issue .
Very satisfied with overall performance
So Pleasant to work with
Knew the information
Definitely would recomment Champion to others.
Backlog in manufacturing and shipping caused delays and I had to call Champion to find out what was going on.
My windows were installed in mid June 2024. One sash was broken, but installed anyway. The grids in one sash in kitchen do not line up properly. Picture window in family room either not properly measured or the factory made a mistake.
Company does take responsibility for the type of work that it promised. (read below)
Good professional work. Love my windows!
Salesman sold us on the windows. We were told when asked if the installers worked for Champion like Andersen Windows advertised and we were told yes. That's all they do is install Champion Windows. Our installers worked for themselves so obviously they are sub contractors.
Precise quality work!
Very professional experience and informative
I referred you to my friends and they are also very pleased.
Have been with Champion since 2006 they have did all of my projects ,also warranty is the best I would highly recommend this company for all of your projects
Great team of people!
I'm very pleased with my new sliding glass patio doors. I actually use them more now than I have in the past because they slide so much easier.
Excellent product and wonderful team of professional people that get the job done.
1)The first quote they gave us was inaccurate and unable to be honored 2)we were told the quote was different due to a tempered window being necessary, then tempered window was not ultimately used and no refund or adjustment in the final price was made
Slippery salespeople but nice windows. Would not recommend them to a friend.
The sales representatives were fantastic. I appreciated their attention to detail and their courtesy. The reason for not 5 stars is because the installation crew could have done a better job. There were not any issues with the windows when they were installed, but during the installing process instead of covering up the window openings (after removing the old windows) they left the openings while they removed the rest of the windows in the house which led to a large amount of flies entering our home. We are still seeing flies popping up and it has been over a couple months since the install. I imagine there were other bugs that made their way into our home as well.
Before I start this answer, I want anyone reading this to know that the reason I got new windows was because I couldn't open 90% of them cuz they were so wrapped (original 1994 wood/single pan glass) it was a safety hazard in my eyes if my kid and partner couldn't get out from upstairs if there was an emergency and didn't have stair access.
Nope, just trying not to think about it. The amount of money I'm spending for the poor craftsmanship of the total finished product is sad and frustrating.
The people are nice but the company communication is trash. I had 3 different project managers before the windows were even measured and no one called us to inform us the first 2 either left the company or got fired. I had to call and ask what was going on (2 times at the start, which both calls eventually got me the answer " I am your new project manager) and why I haven't heard anything from the people that gave me their contact info for the purpose of staying informed and answer my questions.
The install team pretty much ripped apart my interior frame and hammered out the original wood vertical center piece of the window frame. That caused the interior window trim to be ripped and splintered, they cut a small section out and just stuffed a piece in its place, nailed in, and through some gap filler in it. It looks worse than it did originally and the previous owners drilled a bunch of wholes in it.
I am no contractor or expert but I'm actually sickened by my whole experience and when I brought up issues I was just told:
no there is no wood rot, we inspect that when the people came out to measure your windows. They were there for like 10-15 minutes. I asked what they needed for when the measuring started and I was told they are just there to measure the windows so they can start making the new windows. Also, we don't offer signed forms stating the things we promise are actually and were actually accomplished.
Disgusted with these peoples way of business.
I am pleased with the windows I have so far and have already ordered the windows for the back side of my house.
well pleased with the whole job
Three out of four staff person were awesome, very professional . The company as a whole has a lot to offer and they stand behind their words
I am very likely to recommend your company to anyone that needs windows that need. to be replaced The installation was done on time
The salesperson was straight-forward and nice.
