From beginning to end, they communicated a timeline, when they would arrive, what to expect. What the next steps would be. They respected out life and schedule and worked around us. If they said we would hear from someone in the office, we heard from them. It was so refreshing and organized.
I love the look of my four windows and I hope to get five more done within the next year.
Excellent products and customer service; great installation!
Nice guys and very good
While the product is worthy of recommendation, the expectation of delivery is too unpredictable. The factory delays are too lengthy when you're spending $20,000 on a home improvement. There should be a more accurate expectation set from the beginning.
Give me a call and we can discuss why rating is so low 210 300 0114.
I researched the best companies for my home upgrades. It came down to Champion or Anderson, unfortunately I chose Champion. This is my first time making upgrades to my new house. I just wanted a black door and matching windows. All in all this company was very disappointing in all areas. Awful service and disappointing quality of products, I paid $14,000, for 2 windows and my front door. The windows are not too bad, but not worth the $4,000, I paid, the front door was $10,000, and definitely not worth half that price. Thin material, paint is peeling and hardware parts are the cheapest all around. I Googled the parts and I found some exact matches for $136.00. The quality of the door is as good as Lowe’s, with the exception of a design inside the glass window of the door.
The salesman was John Hancock, the name alone should have been a red flag of what a joke this man was. I was helping him find the stock numbers on his catalog. Again red flag, but dumb me I keep going and signed a contract. This man comes across as a church going, loving husband, but beware, he is nothing but a lier. It’s a long story here with his mistakes, but I came out paying $1,200, extra because I signed the contract with a mistake he made and blamed me. I tried every which way to prove I couldn’t have made that mistake, but the company does stand behind their own employees that’s for sure.
Then it took Champion one whole year to complete my work. The door was replaced twice before they got it right. Between each mistake it took 3-4 months. I asked if they could deduct from the $1,200, since the delay was on their side, but no was always their response.
Customer service is the worst here. Good luck trying to get ahold of anyone in charge because they keep telling you there’s nobody in charge! Then when you get ahold of anyone they kept telling me, “there’s nothing we can do”. But they are quick about adding on to the price for any discrepancies.
I didn’t want to get into this survey because of my bad experience and the large amount of money I spent on my upgrades, but I’m hoping anyone who reads this doesn’t make the same mistakes I did.
BE CAREFUL IF YOU CHOOSE THIS COMPANY. Watch yourself from the start with the salesperson and the contract you sign, keep in mind the products are not as good as they make them sound or even as good as the look on samples!
From our first consult with the salesperson all the way through the installation, we had a pretty seamless experience. The quality of the windows, the excellent craftsmanship, and the fact that our electric bill saw a whopping 67% decrease is very impressive and the warranty alone is enough to make Champion your first choice !
Much much better work than the first company. Very responsive. Just wonderful!
I would recommend.
I am about 75% satisfied with the finished product. I have spent another grand to have the project look like one room, when an experienced crew may have included the blending of the two rooms or given a better picture of what the finished project might look like. I still will have to find decorative electrical pipe covers or paint the pipes which is what was suggested when they were being installed: I believe this should have been included since the original plan did not call for pipes on the wall and the deletion of at least one electrical outlet. I brought to the attention of the workers that when they decided they could not put a 220 outlet in the window wall and needed to put it on my brick wall, the PTAC unit cord ended up on the opposite side of the 220 outlets causing a hazard because of the angle to plug it in: the plug was moved over but the cord hangs to the floor creating another hazard: the workers told me about a product that would solve the issue and I could get it from amazon: I feel that they should have corrected that gig. Major changes were made after the start of the project and while I said yes, I trusted that I would receive the same or like results (functionality and appearance) but the changes made parts of the project look like a warehouse instead of a luxury sunroom, and the original plan provided more functionality. The plan was drawn up with the idea of satisfying me so that I would be under contract, rather than drawing up a realistic plan based on knowledge and experience. If the salesperson had more knowledge and experience, the project would not have been written up as it was. The project manager visited and I suppose he went over all plans to see what materials, permits, or special equipment might be needed to complete the job and evaluate if it could be done as contracted: I saw an attempt to do this phase early but experience and knowledge didn't allow for efficiency, and changes and delays kept coming.
The entire process was very easy and all of the staff that worked with me were very professional and courteous.
I am so pleased with my new Champion windows! Everyone was professional and courteous. The product is beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this company.
They are reliable company.
Very satisfied with the sunroom so far. Everyone from sales to installation were great to work with and very knowledgeable.
A bit pricey but got everything done that they agreed to, efficiency and in good time.
From my first meeting with Mr. Hancock up to project completion, everything went according to the schedule. The window order was completed on time, payments were scheduled and completed very easy over the phone, installation completed in two days and I am very pleased with how easy everything went. Had one window screen that needed to be repaired...that issue was fixed quickly. Champion did right by me
While project was ordered and underway, communication was spotty at best. We would not hear anything for long lengths of time and would have to reach out to get information on the project install date which was VERY slow. However, CHAMPION did not hesitate to demand payment each time it was due. We were never late on a payment, but the requests were VERY demanding and hurried. I found staff in this area lacked customer service. The repairs for our door have been slow. still waiting on parts
I would concerning the end product!
At this time, I would not recommend Champion Windows to any of my friends. The grids ordered, were put in the wrong windows. The installation crew was very careless and damaged walls and window sills. The installation crew left lots of debris scattered everywhere (which is a hazard to our herd of tortoises). The installation crew dripped caulk on my floors, my carpeted area on my covered porch, and on my wood deck. If my issues are address and we are made happy, I might change my mind. For now, I would not recommend.
Salesperson also oversold the windows. Saying you could open with one finger. Sure his demonstration window but not the windows that were installed in my house. The windows installed are not easy to open. I am a strong person and I need both hands to open them.
My bedroom with your new windows makes the room feel more homey and secure. I have recommended your windows to a number of friends.
Our whole experience has been great. Saleslman, install, and now service after install are all great and easy to work with
Excellent company! I have had such a pain-free experience with Champion that there wouldn't be any hesitation in recommending them to anyone in the market for windows and/or doors.
Every let of our experience from the initial meeting with sales consultant Jason Washa through the install to completion was outstanding .. excellent professionalism and outstanding quality work. We are extremely happy with our results. Thank you !
Very nice professional crew. Cleaned as they worked on the tear down.
