Overall the work was very good and done professionally and with attention to detail (done on 12/20). However, the installer advised that the measurement should have been adjusted to accomodate for my flooring and so there is a large gap between where my floor ended and the shower pan started. This also means the surround walls extend further out than the shower pan as well which doesn't look right either. He had to put in a temporary makeshift edging/seal and said he would send in the photos and an explanation (to management?headquarters? local branch leader?) in order to get this remedied. I called the next day (12/21) as advised on my paperwork and spoke with someone and then received an email the following Monday (12/23) from a Field Manager who says they are looking into it and asked for photos. I provided the photos I took but explained that the installer had photos from all stages of the install and would be a better resource. I didn't hear again until 12/30 and was then told this would need to be looked into again (I am not sure what happened for an entire week). I replied to the Field Manager's email to ask when I should expect to actually hear from someone about coming out to my house and/or completing the work but have not received a reply (it is now 1/1).
I had also been told by the installer that a final inspection was supposed to take place once he completed the job that day but it was around 8pm on a Friday and this has yet to happen (this question has been ignored in both of my emails with the Field Manager) . I am still waiting for someone to schedule something with me so the remaining work can be done to complete the job as the shower looks uneven and incomplete and only has a temporary fix on it per the installer.
I would be happy to update my review once the work is completed and I feel that the $12,000 I spent was worth it.
