I came close to canceling when i found out that Hogan Roofing was Classic Construction. Seemed a little deceptive to me

There were three issues identified on the roof when the county inspector came out. Two were what appeared to be scuff marks, or where equipment was dropped, which were not enough for the roof to fail. An outside claims examiner indicated those kinds of scuff marks are the first place to show deterioration or problems. There was a shingle that was broken and tarred into place. Although the shingle was not broken all the way through, it did not fail. I was happy with the job otherwise, but I would tell others to look out for items like this. I expected a perfect job, and I did not quite get that.

There was a man and his son and they were well-mannered and good at what they were doing. Classic Construction came and fixed a problem that another company had created.

Work was done quickly and they were very easy to get in touch with. I had many questions along the way and felt like I was supported throughout the process.

The roofers drank BEER while doing the roofing job. I notified the company and expected a different crew to finish the job. Not only did that not happen but I never heard from management about my complaint

They charged us $3600 for installing clips which we later found out through an inspection that they weren’t installed. No apologies for the “mixup”. We never would have known if the MSFH inspector hadn’t checked specifically for them.Also, they tried to pad their subcontractor quote for doing our soffit. They did not stand by their original quote. Communication was very hard with them after the sale was made. I most definitely will never recommend them to anybody again.

The agent did not tell me up front that their company would not sign a release of the Notice of Commencement before I could get my funding loan to pay for the roof. I found that out the day before my credit line mortgage company was ready to put the funding into my bank account. The mortgage company would not put the money into my bank account without the release being signed and recorded. The roofing company said I had to pay for the roof first. I was devastated as both the roofing company agent and the funding company agent knew I was getting a very sizeable credit line amount more than enough in order to pay for the new roof. If a very good friend had not stepped in to pay for the new roof so I could get my funding, I don't know what I would have done. I also only had one shingle company to choose from for the color of the shingles. I wanted a two tone grey but could only get a mixture of grey with a bluish cast to it which really does not go with the color of my rental house.
My two fairly new turbines were left off and were in the dump truck which looked like they would have taken them if I had not showed up to tell the workers that they were supposed to be put back on. Since they removed them and shingled over the location, I believe they did not put them back in the same place on the roof so they can catch the right amount of wind. One works and one works some of the time. I am sure the installation of the shingles and the plywood was done correctly, and the timing was very satisfactory.

I will definitely use them again.

I got my brand new roof a few weeks ago, but I ended up getting a leak in my bathroom. I called them twice, but nobody has responded or come out. I am not complaining, but I am curious on when they will reach out.

They are the most competent group I have seen in a long time. The young man who came out in response to my call was knowledgeable, professional, and told me exactly what I could expect, which is what I got and I appreciate that.

I didn't like the pricing. I was able to get quotes $6,000- $7,000 cheaper but I had to go with them because they were the only ones to offer financing options.

Classic Roofing in my opinion is a very reputable and fair company. Their Agent Alex and employee Cheyenne were awesome. The installation crew were the best that I have ever seen. They were quiet, neat and organized. Not one piece of shingle remained in the yard. You would not believe they removed anything from the roof prior to their installation.

Multiple communication issues including no return calls, having to follow up to move the project forward, issues with payment having been received but an admin error led to contacting me saying that it had not been. The roof work seems to be done adequately, but initiating the process was cumbersome.

The roofing and shingling was fine, the replacing of the roof studs/boards, they had to come out two or three times to complete.

After my roof was installed, I found multiple deficiencies. These problems include tar staining on the front and sides of the home, paint damage, soffit and fascia damage and siding damage. After removal of existing of drip edge, the fascia was damaged and could not be restored to its original condition as stated by Classic Roofing production manager. I expected my home to be restored to the condition it was in before the new roof way installed by Classic Roofing. Mike, the vice president of the company refused to make repairs identified and stated that this is what happens and what is to be expected when a roof is being replaced. Buyer beware. This company will not make the appropriate repairs if they damage your home.

Classic Roofing and Construction did a great job. My new roof looks great and the staff were extremely helpful. They explained what would happen every step of the way and always pleasantly answered my many questions. Highly recommend this company.

As far as I know they did a good job, the test will be how the new roof holds up over time and how well and easily I can rely on Classic Roofing to handle any roof related problems or failures with the new roof.

I was waiting on a check from my insurance. They brought it forward a month and I had to put the payment on hold. I had a 90-day stay. I had an independent adjuster, and they came in and put the roof on. They rushed it and rushed me. They agreed to go with the insurance payment plan, then decided to go ahead and do it and make me sweat a little. I am fighting cancer and an autoimmune disease. I didn't find it very humorous when everything landed at my house. No one contacted me to inform me the dumpster was coming. They lack a lot of communication.

They were fast, efficient, clean, and professional. I thought they did a great job from beginning to end. The whole process was organized, there was a lot of follow-up and quality control, everything was well communicated regarding the cost, and there were no surprises. The finished job looks great.

The work that was done was phenomenal, I can’t contend with that. However, the lack of follow through once the roof was paid makes me apprehensive of sharing a referral with the other impacted dwellings in the community.
