From day one, a DKI representative came to my home and told me bold-faced lies. The employee was fired shortly thereafter and a new individual took over. The new individual was a nice guy and worked hard but he was absolutely thrown to the wolves by DKI because he inherited the 1st individuals lies. A simple bathroom repair took nine months to fix. If you have a construction or mold project, contract everything yourself. All that DKI is going to do is act as a middleman and take their cut. You can save yourself time and hassle by just looking up workers (i.e. plumbing, carpentry, etc.) on Angie's List or Google and contracting them yourself. It seems to me (and I'll gladly have anyone prove me wrong), the insurance realm is an absolute scam where companies try to maximize the amount of money they get from insurance companies for doing a job (e.g. $25 to remove and replace a soap dish from a bathroom?!?!) and the insurance companies don't care because they've collected so much in premiums that they'll let contractor companies steam roll them. All that being said, the DKI individual who took over was a very nice guy and a hard worker but it was clear his hands were tied in so many instances, usually by DKI higher-ups wanting to make as much money as they could.
As long as they have people like Brooks and Tim, they make sure it's done right, good quality, and timely (with exclusion of cat 5 hurricanes). Your company will suffer without people like them.
They responded relatively quickly given the situation. Overall, they provided satisfactory work.
Excellent personal with necessary skills.
