I am not likely to recommend Cornerstone Disaster Repair to a friend because they were terribly disorganized.
Very professional, work was done very well, Tyler has a very nice professional personality.
The project manager, Josh, is really awesome. They were really professional throughout everything.
When you use Cornerstone Disaster Repair, there is no such thing as a disaster.
Cornerstone Disaster Repair took care of my needs in a timely fashion.
New tub cracked again six months after installation. I don't know what they did but tub seemed great at first until six months later it has a crack in it at nearly the same place as the last one. They finished installing it and moved on before the inspector could approve it and now I guess I know why. Seems like they left an unsupported gap under tub causing too much stress in vulnerable spot.
I received respectful, prompt, complete yet concise information and response throughout a very long process.
Cornerstone Disaster Repair was very professional. They did a great job! I am happy with all the work done.
Robby, the head construction, was so great I gave him a bonus!
If I could give zero stars I would. HORRIFIC experience. They ended up COSTING us money because of the horrendous job they did. They did more damage to my home than fixing it.
Cornerstone Disaster Repair responded to everything that I sent them or questions that I had. They would call, text, or email me back.
I was very pleased with the end results of my house repairs.
This was the worst customer service experience that I have ever had.
We started the process before COVID broke out. We all had to revise schedules after the work had started and I think that provided problems for everyone. None the less I have tried to give honest responses to the questions and in summary, we are satisfied with the quality of workmanship. However, communication and scheduling could have been better.
It was a trying time for me and we had a tragedy at the house. They were tremendous.
Cornerstone Disaster Repair did not follow the insurance company estimate, but instead cut corners to save money. On the work that they actually did do, they made a number of mistakes, and the workmanship was poor. If you need a restoration contractor, DO NOT feel pressured to pick the first company that calls -- get multiple bids. Also, DO NOT sign anything until the insurance company and restoration contractor reach agreement on exactly what needs to be done, and at what price.
Cornerstone was incredible throughout the 5 months that they were rebuilding our home. All of the groups that they worked with were professional and made the rebuild as painless as possible. Robby the PM was the best-always answered any questions we had. Without a doubt would recommend.
Cornerstone Disaster Repair's management is great, but the execution of their plan was not good. I moved back in almost a year later, and things are still not complete.
DO NOT DO IT! From the beginning they lied, manipulated, gas lit and deceived—I’d be happy to direct message you over 6 months of minutely documented notes and correspondence outlining the above statement if you’d like—otherwise just take my word for it and save yourself your precious time, money and sanity. DON’T HIRE THEM!! Please let my loss be your lesson learned— I am out $44,000 and a full year of being displaced from my home.
Cornerstone failed to meet my expectations in the areas of timeliness, quality of work, and communication. Their contracted help showed up either unannounced, or not as scheduled. They were also unprofessional and rude. Additionally, a job that should have been completed in a couple of weeks took several months. Work had to be done, and then redone several times, in more than one category. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and would not use them again in the future, if a need were to arise.
Blake, our project manager, has been amazing as far as answering my questions, getting back to me, and contacting me right away if I have an issue. He really has been amazing.
We are really satisfied with the workmanship. The timeframe is a little slow, but their workmanship is excellent.
They were just great!
We had a major confusion when they took all of our stuff out of the house, but they fixed it right way. They stuck our stuff in the garage which didn't work because we were having to basically live out of our garage. We were on vacation when it happened and when we got back we saw it and let them know that it wouldn't work and they came back the next morning to repack it and take it away to another facility. They made a mistake because there was some miscommunication, but they fixed it right away and that was more important than the fact that they made a mistake.
They did an excellent job. Their communication was excellent. I have no problems with the work that they do.
When looking for a contractor, do your homework prior to deciding on a company regardless of who it is.
Poor communications. Seemed like we always had to call and ask where crews where, what was next, etc Slow to respond to emails, texts and calls. Did catch some items not found in insurance estimate. Would suggest another company, but not sure who.
No, because they were late coming to do the work.
I think that they did a good job.
This is the conclusion of everything else. If I ever have a problem like this again or no someone who does, then Cornerstone would not be my first choice in contractors.
We are very satisfied with the work performed by Cornerstone Disaster Repair, Inc. They explained it all to us and did every single thing they said they would do. Thanks.
Blake & Chris were esay to work with, and answered my many questions patiently. They were great to work with!
The finished job is beautiful.
When it comes to somebody in a disaster and repairing their home, communication, timing, and scheduling needs to be done in a way for a person who is dealing with a nightmare, so they can work through the rest of their scheduling. Otherwise, it is just one disaster after another. Cornerstone Disaster Repair needs to improve on that. I kept having to have things re-done and that needs to be corrected.
I was very pleased with their professionalism and the the manner in which the job was done. I was also very pleased with the clean up. Everything they were going to do they let me know before hand. We had many different vendors coming in and I always knew who was coming and what they were going to do. I was very happy about that.
they are as good as it gets in a lousy situation. worked with me and the insurance company to take care of business
Before signing any documents, the house owner needs to make sure that they have done a good. job. I went in just before I signed the documents and there were many things that should have been taken care of weren't complete. After mentioning the problem areas, they did a swift job to fishish them. I'd recommend a third party do an inspection before signing the release form.
I really appreciate their patience and their willingness to work together. They were very professional.
This was truly the worst experience that my wife and I have ever had to endure. The continued mistakes, lack of knowledge and professionalism, missed appointments, lack of pride in work, we repeatedly had to have them come back redo their work. While moving our belongings they managed to punch holes in walls, door frames, etc. They reinstalled the mildewed cabinet back in our master bath even though it was to be replaced & argued with us about the replacement. Once it was determined that we were correct then when the new cabinets were built they attempted to install the cabinets over the mildewed wall and floor! Then they had to redo the cabinet because they had been built to tall. I could go on and on...project managers would always show up with a mouth full of I understand and apologies, BUT the hits just kept on coming! I would NEVER recommend or except the services of this company ever again. I love my insurance company but they should discontinue utilizing this company!
Our disaster happened in my downstairs business office.Cornerstones sub contractors never interfered with our very busy season.
Cornerstone Disaster Repair Inc. is wonderful, they personally contacted me and helped me out. They are very professional and I could not recommend them more.
I've never worked with such a professional team. They are very professional, courteous, and they clean up after themselves which is a big plus for me. I'd recommend them to just about anyone; I'd especially recommend Robby who was extremely helpful.
