We were fully satisfied with Cornell Roofers. Kyle is very accessible and is on the job from early morning through to the end of the day. His crew is friendly and hard working. Every day they would leave the property neat and tidy. Our roof has lots of peaks and valleys with hardly any straight runs but they worked every day, all day til the job was completed. I am the proud owner of a home built here in Amsterdam NY in 1900. For the past 40 years, it has been a wonderful place to live, raise my three sons, and grow old in! I love my home….but wear and tear over the years can be hard to keep up with.

Last year I realized that I could delay the inevitable no longer: I needed a new roof.

From my very first phone conversation with Correll Contracting Corp, I was impressed. I explained my needs, what I was looking for, and the time frame I was hoping they could accommodate , and an appointment was made immediately for Kyle, the owner of Correll, to come out and assess my situation.

In a very timely manner, I received an estimate for a new roof. Everything was laid out perfectly, in terms of material, labor, guarantees, and so forth. I’m a woman alone, so it’s important to me that I understand exactly what I’m signing up for, and I felt complete confidence in the professionalism and honesty with which my home and I were treated. I also felt that I could call at any time, if I had any questions.

The day came for Correll to begin work on my roof. I thought it was going to be a long hard slog, day in day out , of endless hammering, banging, and mess all over the place! NOT AT ALL ! I had a beautiful new roof within two weeks of their starting, and I am DELIGHTED. The roof is wonderful, and my home feels so much more secure.

I can assure you that you will be delighted with the efforts and professionalism of Kyle and his team. They were here at the crack of dawn, weather permitting (and if the weather ruled out their working, I always received an early -morning call to inform me that they wouldn’t be coming). I couldn’t believe the way they tidied up at the end of each day! Honestly, I’d be hard-pressed to find even one nail lying on the ground.

The weekend after the roof was all finished, I didn’t expect to see Kyle again. But …it was literally just after dawn on Saturday morning, when I heard someone walking around outside… and I looked out the window … and I saw… it was Kyle himself! He painstakingly spent two hours, all by himself, checking everything out, and removing the last few scraps left over from all his team’s efforts. I can’t tell you how impressed I was by that!

If you need a new roof, I whole-heartedly recommend CORRELL CONTRACTING. Their work ethic is pristine, their skills are top-notch, and the roof they made for my beloved home is gorgeous. I will always be grateful to Kyle and his wife Marrissa. They run the business together. It is lovely to support a young, upcoming couple in their endeavors. This was a very pleasant experience for me and the cost (while never eagerly anticipated!) seemed reasonable to me given the intense labor involved.

Our roofing project was a difficult one because of the 2 story access and the large roof ,peaks and valleys. All very well done with no mess left behind.

The roof is dated from 1781. Correll Contracting was the only company willing to take on this unknown project. I also have horses on the property. They cleaned up every night to make sure there was no debris to scare or harm them.

I feel strongly that I received quality and thorough work with attention to detail. I asked what they would use on their house for a shingled roof. Sometimes roofs are taken for granted until high winds removed about 20 feet of shingles from my old roof. From what I can see, Correll Contracting did excellent work using a quality Owens Corning roofing shingle. The web site ocdesignsiq.com was extremely helpful. You can choose your house color then roof type and color to see how it looks on your house.

Correll was very organized and professional. Their attention to detail surpassed my expectations. They took time to make sure the site was perfectly clean. It was probably cleaner than it was when they got there. They searched for metal fasteners several times They wiped down the vinyl siding. They made final adjustments that I couldn't even see. The care the crew took shows a lot about the management. That means management is not on them to get to the next job. I highly recommend them to anyone.

It took a looong while to get things accomplished and moving to get the roof project going. Not good in returning phone calls......Had to always call them......countless times in their office to see where things stood. Said they were going to do research and then really didn't get anything accomplished. I had to go on line numerous times to find info for my insurance company (repair was due to ice, snow and water damage) ......I got the info and for some reason, they couldn't. After the job was over, some damage needed to be corrected on trim pieces and it took countless calls to get them back.....didn't show up at times when they were going to fix them......probably almost 6 weeks to get that done as well.
