They were a good company to use and they showed me a picture of the men that would be coming. I was really pleased with their customer service. They came back if I had any problems. They always took my calls and were a really good company to work with.

The siding looks real good overall, but there was very avoidable damage done to the roof, doors and windows during tear off and I'm not very satisfied by that. I found a large old siding board that was thrown into bushes and left there nails pointed up. Not using tarps for tear down was reckless, and I found bags and bags of old paint and nails all over that could just be avoided with a little prep work for demolition piles. I would say get a bid, but I would be very clear about my concerns.

Erik, our sales person, did a great job describing our options and presenting a proposal for new siding along with new gutters and soffits. We had to wait awhile to get the project started but the crew we had was great. They were polite, thorough and competent. They cleaned up every afternoon when they'd finished for the day and were easy to communicate with. The gutter installers and the electrician did a great job too. We're very happy with Craftsmen and our improved home!

The Marvin Window and James Hardie Siding projects we had done last October/November went very well. The skill and expertise of the crews who did the work was solid and without error. They were pleasant, accommodating and easy to work with. The new windows and siding look great and we would recommend their work and Craftsmen Home Improvement without hesitation.

Everything about this company was first class. The salesman Jim was the best I’ve ever dealt with. We had new roofing, skylights, soffits, fascia, gutters, downspouts and siding done. Big job! The crews were extremely hard-working, professional, courteous, and seemed to really care about their work and our satisfaction. The foreman on the siding crew, Juan, was especially great to deal with. Craftsmen even pointed out some extra little things that could be done to make the overall job look and function better, and they did the work, too! As with any big project, there are surprises when you start tearing things apart. There were with my house. They were VERY fair with the cost of resolving those issues and did a great job. I recommend these people 100%.

Workmanship was very good

Good company to do business with. We have had windows, siding and roof done at different times. Excellent sales staff and good project managers. All install crews have been friendly, professional, and extremely skilled at what they do. And, cleanup was done well.

The onsite siding and window wrap team of Ray, Luis, Andrea, Carlos and Dominique were very professional--they arrived on time, were hard workers, and worked efficiently and carefully. I also appreciated that they cleaned up the property before leaving at each day's end. I enjoyed getting to know them. Matt and his son did a great job on my gutters too! They were very kind and made a few recommendations and adjustments that were beneficial.

They were neither the most expensive bid nor the least expensive bid that we received for this job, and we feel good about the quality and value of the materials and services.

Working with the entire Craftsmen Home Improvement team has been an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our project included removal and replacement of entire roof (with significant re-decking), installation of aluminum wrapped fascia and hidden vent soffits (which included removal and replacement of large sections of damaged fascia), and covered gutters/downspouts. Their bid was very competitive. Their lifetime workmanship warranty was a great selling feature. The Craftsmen team and all their contractors are excellent. All have the same professional manner with customer satisfaction their goal.

Jim Kosloski was our rep and was excellent to work with. He was professional, personable, knowledgeable and very responsive to all our questions/concerns—even while on vacation! His follow through is exceptional. With Covid-19, there were material shortages. Jim’s find-a-way, make-a-way attitude found our shingles even when every supplier in the metro area was out of them. He was there through the whole project even being present for several hours as the roof was installed and later to inspect the jobs. He also followed up and took care of several minor adjustments once the job was complete.

The project managers, Ellie (Roofing/Gutters) and Joni (Fascia/Soffit), were seamless in the coverage of our projects. Snow in October produced several weather delays. Ellie and Joni kept us informed prior to the delays. We never had to wonder when the crews were going to show up. They were both fantastic. If issues arose, they were handled promptly and professionally to our complete satisfaction. Carolyn who handles the billing/finances was excellent to work with.

Tony and his crew did an excellent job with the roof as did Juan’s team removing and replacing all the damaged fascia and installing the new fascia and hidden vent soffit. Matt and his team did a great job with our new covered gutters and downspouts. These teams are highly skilled and it shows in their work. Our neighbors were very impressed!

The strength of Craftsmen is the quality of their work and communication is an area requiring some work. We worked very well with Kim who assisted in the choice of materials. The stone mason was an artist. The siding foreman knew his craft. Our project was rather expensive but an excellent value. We experienced some delays due to Covid, i.e. seven weeks from ordering ledger stone to delivery. Eric, sales representative, was responsive. Joni, our project coordinator, was also responsive. Our problem as a customer was not knowing specifically what we wanted for stone work, gutters and some other aspects of our project. Craftsmen was flexible in dealing with our expectations, known and unknown. Overall, Craftsmen met or exceeded our goals.

Charges for the electrician that Craftsmen retained seemed unreasonable for the time he was on the job site. An adjustment was made but we never received a detailed breakdown of the electrician's charges. We were home for the entire installation and never observed him on site until the remounting of three fixtrures. Our electrical service was never interrupted during the time of installation.

The crew was phenomenal - professional, courteous, communicative and worked quickly. I was very pleased with the work they did and would recommend them to my family and friends.
