I would not recommend Craig Van Lines. In fact, I’m going out of my way to leave negative reviews to help anyone who is considering Craig Van Lines steer clear.

They are very responsive. The front office is great. They are very attentive to issues. Their customer service is great. I got my stuff back and didn't have any issues. It's all been good.

Came in person to give an estimate, completed the job professionally and thoroughly, and came in under the estimate. Turned a stressful event into a simple one. Couldn't ask for more!

I recently had the privilege of working with this company on an in state long distance move and could not have been more pleased. I immediately knew that I wanted to work with them after Mr. Fred Craig completed the estimate. He was extremely professional and empathetically worked with us from day one on a challenging move that required a lot of flexibility due to variables outside of our control. Whenever an outside challenge arose Mr. Craig and his staff were courteous, compassionate, and flexed with us to find a solution. Ms. Cindy and the office staff were responsive, timely, and easy to communicate with. The moving staff were great to work with, efficient, and many have been with the company for many years. Manuel, on of the team members who helped us packing,loading, and delivering has been with the company for over 20 years and was extremely hard working and helpful. Cost was hands down the most reasonable and commensurate with the great service provided. Haven’t experienced a company with a greater customer experience and I hope to have the pleasure to work with these great people and company again.

I used Craig just 6 months prior to this move and they were outstanding!! I was not expecting anything less this time so was disappointed.
My two beds, one a sleep number was incorrectly set up.
To their credit, one of the Craig men came right out. It is an incredibly heavy bed and yet on his own, he moved it. He also was able to fix shelves in an inexpensive storage piece I could not dislodge.
Sadly, once he left, I realized that the bed had been pushed up against the wall making the tilt feature inaccessible. I had to move the bed myself which was close to impossible.
I also had to move my son’s bed in order to access the tilt feature and get the remote which, although attached, was under the bed in the middle.
As I unpacked further, I noticed a knob on the dining room furniture was badly bent.
I accept responsibility for not knowing enough about my Sleep By Numbers bed, however on my first move there was absolutely no problem with the bed.
I also know I should have checked all items for loss or damage as the clips for a bookshelf are missing so the shelf cannot be used until I buy clips.
Although the people are wonderful, I am still disappointed overall.

This is the fourth time I've used Craig Van Lines. They always show up on time and knock the job out quickly. I pack the boxes and use the strong backs of Craig Van Lines to move out and into the new place. Prices are much less than their competitors! Give them a try! Craig C.

The delivery was not on time for the date we agreed on. The people who were offloading left early, in my opinion.

They were quick and got the job done quicker.

They were incredibly professional. Any move is very emotional; I felt as though the actual movers that came out understood that we were moving from a home that we had shared with our seven kids for the past 20 years. They clearly picked up that I was pretty emotional and were quite kind about it.

I just started using them, and I am pleased with their services! They are a good moving service to use.

Every part of my relocation from Northern Virginia to Florida was perfect. The initial contact with, and estimate from, Mr. Craig was excellent. His demeanor and approach was calming and reassuring. Logistics were handled by Cindy & Terri. Communication was excellent, with plenty of advanced discussion regarding pack out and delivery dates and time. Finally both pack out and delivery crews were absolutely the best I have ever dealt with. All items were handled with care and not a single item of furniture or furnishings were damaged or misplaced.

Craig Van Lines did an excellent job, nothing was broken, the teams were professional and easy to deal with.

They come across as very easy to contact, personable and professional experience, but in the end, they are just like any other moving company.

They put my belongings in a storage unit to wait for another half-load to go in the same direction, and promised me it would just be days. Weeks later I had to call them to get my belongings and when it arrived it was just my belongings. There never was another half-load. Which means they loaded a truck, unloaded the truck into storage and then loaded another truck for nothing. It’s probably how my very heavy porch umbrella stand got lost in the move.

To make things more aggravating, only the driver of the truck was there to unload. Took over an hour to find another “mover” and that’s only after I called Craig and insisted they find an additional mover instead of making the driver find one.

The personal contact card I was given at the pitch to use this company always went to VM and never a call back from it.

Great experience from the initial survey, the packing teams through to the actual move. All done quickly, professionally and at a good price. Fully recommend.
