Professional, friendly and trustworthy!

Communication has been very good between Koontz and ourselves. From the beginning were weekly meetings recapping what was accomplished the prior week, what would be accomplished the current week, where we were with the time schedule/subcontractors/materials in the weeks to come. We were given “homework” to complete as time drew near to order paint/flooring/cabinetry/tile/etc. These meetings were invaluable and we knew what to expect from week to week. Their building crews were polite, worked well together and took ownership of their work. They were also good at offering advice, recommendations and ideas when asked.

We were impressed with the management of the project and kept well informed throughout all stages and what to expect. There appeared to be excellent communication and coordination with the project crew as well as subcontractors. The crew was punctual, considerate and conscientious. The work was first rate and we are delighted with the finished project.

Great staff to work with and very professional. Work Quality was great. Certainly not the cheapest but worth every penny if you want a quality job and not have to worry about the work in the future. I really liked the staff very caring and professional, was amazed at the time it took for demo.

This project was our 3rd remodeling job with Dale Koontz team. The lead project manager was extremely professional and made every attempt to not disrupt our routine family life. Our master bathroom now has a more contemporary look.

This is our second major renovation with Koontz. The first was done while we lived elsewhere and were kept up to speed by Kris Bentley. So now as residents we chose Koontz to renovate our kitchen, add a kitchen and create a great room. The results have been magnificent.

Doing a full remodel of our kitchen and living room is very transitional for my family of 5 (3 boys that are 6 and under!). Koontz made it as seamless as possible and were always willing to accommodate our crazy lives. They were very respectful and really listened to all of my questions and took into account what I wanted. The team was exceptional and are very talented. They worked quickly but did an exceptional job. They didn't even mind my 4 year old who wants to be "a fixer" tagging along with them. They were just so great with our whole family!

Additional Comments - This is the second time Koontz has done remodeling projects. Some of the men that worked on the first one came back and it was like seeing old friends that you like and trust.

Lead Source - Well, I have lived in Quincy since 1970 and it’s hard not to hear about Dale Koontz Builders as they are all over town. I chose them because of their excellent reputation but never dreamed they would be so affordable. I have learned from experience that you definitely want to work with a company with a great reputation. Since I know nothing about construction or construction costs, I could easily get scammed. I trust Koontz Builders due to their high level of integrity and expertise.

I am extremely happy with the new concrete patio. It was so much work getting the old patio out and the guys kept at it in not the best weather conditions. Everyone is so polite and courteous. This was my first time having a project done by Koontz and i would look forward to working with them again. Thanks guys. You are “the best”

We were very glad to finally undertake the remodelling project that we have wanted to do for years. We were also happy that Dale Koontz Builder took care of the project for us. The scope of the project was all-inclusive - major bathroom remodelling, flooring & painting for the whole house, all new counters thoughout the house and cabinet "refreshening" as well as updating lighting. We have been very satisfied with the outcome and will enjoy the results for years.
