In one part of the process, the communication was not good. Things got done and we were happy with the work, but If I expect a phone call in a day or two, then I am expecting a call. The back and forth communication was terrible. I always had to reach out and call and not getting the calls I should have got. There were multiple parties involved -flooring company, sheetrock company, the demolition, asbestos abatement, the mold mitigation - the communication was a little bit sloppy. They were recommended by my insurance company and I would use them again but I would have to insist up front that they tighten up their communication I am not a multi-millionaire, but I expect to be treated like one.

I had fire damage and it was a very very traumatic experience. I am a new homeowner and working with Mark at Damage Control and Restoration put a lot of fears to rest. The workmanship and his team were great and finished earlier than expected.

I was very happy with every bit of the work they did. Every time we had a question, they gave and answer that was always the answer we were looking for. They did excellent work. They were always on time, and they never left a mess. Everything was pristine, and we appreciated that. I have no complaints about anything they did. When they said they'd be somewhere they would be there, and when they said they'd do something they'd do it. Marshall was above board. I enjoyed working with him. I would recommend Damage Control & Restoration to anybody. That's how good they were.

Worst experience of my life! They showed up after our house fire and talked a good game, so we signed their contract thinking if our insurance recommends them, they must be good. Jokes on us, NOTHING was done correctly the first time. They even nailed new wood to old charred wood in my attic! And whats worse is my husband and I know nothing of construction and if we didn't question everything and babysit the whole time my house would be falling down! 14 months later and I am still fighting to have my shower fixed, it leaks all over our floor and despite having them come our 5-6 times they still can't get it not to leak. I had to find a new company to come in and tell me the whole shower needs replaced AGAIN due to improper installation. The man that runs the company lied to us over and over again. We had to find flooring people ourselves because we were told we were on a list and it would take 6wks, 6wks later when we asked we found out that we weren't even on a list and it would take another 3months (we were due to move home a week later) Other issues include, our siding that they thought would be ok to leave a huge gap in, the shingles that weren't cut correctly, the gutters not draining but rather just holding water, the trim not stained with correct type of stain, extra holes made in my ceiling, broke the headboard to my bed, holes left in awning outside into my attic, The insulation was never changed in my attic so when we used the furnace the first time our whole house smelled like smoke and we had to have furnace cleaned AGAIN as well as actually replacing the insulation! Now at the end of all this they want me to sign a form saying I'm satisfied with their work so that all these things not done the first time correctly or are still needing fixed can go against the "warranty" but that would imply that things were actually in working order and then broke, which was certainly not the case.

The Damage Control & Restoration crew was courteous, responsive and completed the job just as explained. I was very satisfied with the job as well as the team with their professionalism.

I am really happy with Damage Control and Restoration. I couldn't ask for a better crew. Sean was great.
