Too expensive to "recommend," but the quality is high.
It took a lot longer than they told us for the door. We had to keep calling because no one would call back.
We ordered the door the first part of September and the door is still not finished. The came in with a broken locking system. For a door that costs that much money you expect better service and in a timely manner.
I definitely can recommend Mad City as a returning customer. They replaced all our windows and this time they did a bathtub to shower conversion. Friendly sales and staff. Quality work. Double warranty. What's not to like. There are many places that you can hire someone to do a renovations but Mad City is like a nice restaurant instead of a fast food meal. You can go cheaper but if you want a quality experience all the way through and a guaranteed product I would go with Mad City.
I am amazed at how great these windows look and how well they block outage cold! The room is noticeably warmer! Installation was quick, professional, and they cleaned up as they went.
Even though issues were corrected, there were too many to start with. One has not been corrected, Damage to residence from contractors' trailer hitting garage door trim.
Very professional from sales to the installation. and love the product.
My family and I would recommend mad city and bath. They are professional, friendly, honest and they back their product and work. The company is on the pricey side. But that is expected for quality, versus a company that isn’t about quality and instead all about quantity.
High quality replacement of leaking tub/shower unit. One day install worked well for occupant in upstairs apartment. Re-used existing shower head/sprayer attachment. Minimal disruption to room decorative trim.
At the sale, work to imagine how the replacement might differ from existing, and ask questions. Be careful to allow enough time for a complete installation, including unseen conflict(s), and how those should be handled: With the sales rep as well as the installer(s)? Also define how unfinished work is to be handled at the end of the workday (i.e., how much payment to withhold?).
My kitchen looks great! The cabinets are beautiful. It was done quickly and the installers were great!
Our original date had to be pushed back because a piece of the countertop was not made to our expectations. The install team (Brad and Lucas) was very proactive in getting this solved and the decision was to have it remanufactured after consulting us and upper management. The installation was only delayed one month, which we were pleased with. The actual installation team, (Brad and Reese) did an excellent job! They were knowledgeable and professional and worked well together! This made for a very pleasant experience for us and is much appreciated!!
Window needed to be caulk to fill large gaps between windows and trim
We highly recommend mad city for the tub to shower conversation, very high quality materials and great service 🙂
They were very professional and did an excellent job in a short period of time. I love my new windows!
From start to finish, this was a fantastic experience. The sales agent gave the most impressive demo I’ve ever been shown, without trying to force us to buy. The communication was seamless, and the install went great and they finished when promised. The only minor hiccup was when they had to come redo the caulk. This was easily requested and handled quickly (and well!!) As a first time window buyer, this was a great experience. The final product is priceless. I will never own any other window!!!
Short wall cover and corner (4”x75”wall cover),paint scraped off south wall, and floor marks on tile floor from plumber
The installation team of Matt and Lucas was very courteous, friendly and professional.
Unacceptable: install (finishing), enlargement of access-to-plumbing hole, and clean-up. Called almost immediately voicing my dissatisfaction. I have to wait a week before the tech (inspector) comes to look at/fix. This begs the notion that there are plenty of “fixes” going on out there … I have no idea about the quality of the materials, or how readily warranties will be honored, and I am not a perfectionist, but this certainly doesn’t appear to be a “professional” job. For what it cost, I would have expected more than a $2,000 end product look. Disappointed and leaning on the sorry side that I didn’t back out and eat part of the down payment.
Ask me again after the tech shows up.
I would recommend Mad City for any one looking to install a new shower. It was done when I was told it would be. It is beautiful!
They did a wonderful job from office to salesperson to installers, I would recommend them to anyone.
We’re very satisfied with the windows. The team did a very good job on installing them.
we love our new patio door and the fact that they did such a good job as well as being great guys was a plus, thank you again
I would make a positive recommendation if I was able to tell the potential client what to look out for.
