Our 45-year-old home had water and termite damage. WE had one window that was leaking and the structure around it needed to be rebuilt. We made one window area smaller. The siding was falling apart and we were concerned about the structural integrity. DL Design Construction was able to quote, tear down, rebuild, update to code, and install the siding and trim, and did some add-on projects. My house is now structurally sound, weather proof, and beautiful. They cleaned up and left the yard free of debris. I highly recommend DL Design Construction for siding and windows.

We embarked on a project to replace the dated vinyl siding on our house, which had been in place since the 1970s. Our initial meeting with Dimitri evolved into a comprehensive plan where we decided to enlist DL Design to not only replace the siding but also tackle the roof replacement and deck reconstruction. We received a very competitive price for the entire scope of work.

While there was a waiting period for materials and permits, once the project kicked off, the crew displayed exceptional speed and efficiency. During the removal of the old siding, we uncovered several areas with dry rot that necessitated framing replacements. Whenever such unforeseen issues arose beyond the contracted work, DL Design promptly provided quotes and detailed plans for the necessary repairs.

The entire crew exhibited exemplary manners, courtesy, and professionalism throughout the project. Every interaction with any member of the team was a positive experience. The wet winter of 2022-2023 accelerated rot in our 45 year old wood sided home. The entire exterior needed to be redone including some new studs. We decided on James Hardie fiber cement siding, received quotes from 3 Hardie approved contractors, deciding on DL Design and Construction. We are very glad we chose them. Their crew is knowledgeable and easy to work with. Their work is meticulous. They clean up each day. We appreciate the unexpected things we wouldn’t have thought of or didn’t know about such as: asking us if we wanted to replace the lights (we hadn’t noticed how bad they looked), asking if we want to add outside electrical outlets or lighting (yes! Including motion lights), improved exhaust vents for dryer and bathroom, suggesting “coiling” for wood fascia, and more. We could not be more pleased with this project: from the initial quote to final work. If we could give them more than 5 stars we would.

We hired DL Designs and are very happy with their work. This was a larger job that included residing our house with Hardie lap siding, reframing one side to move our slider, new windows, new gutters, new lights, and painting everything that wasn’t covered by the siding. Their bid was lower by almost $20,000 (I should note that’s before we decided to add the gutters and paint, so I have no idea how their final quote would compare to other companies). I will admit I was a little nervous the quality would reflect price, but that was not the case. The finished product is beautiful. Also, working with the team was a great experience. They were professional but more importantly friendly and considerate. I work from home and my toddler is also home with me. Whenever they had to turn off the power, they made sure it was okay in terms of my work or if my daughter was down for a nap they worked on the other side of the house. I would highly recommend them.

Dmitry and his team were very professional. They started right away. They finished on time even with a few rain days stopping construction. Everything was straight and plumb. They even added a few requests I had. They were friendly and answered questions that I had. The inspector always signed off on the work without problems. They cleaned up very well when the job was completed. I was always able to communicate with them and they always got right back to me with the information that I had inquired on. The house looks like new. I am completely happy with their work and how the house looks. I would recommended DL Design Construction for all your exterior housing needs.

This review is for work done for us by DL Design and Construction. This work was completed in early January, 2023. Our project involved the removal of our existing siding and replacement with Hardie board siding and the replacement of all of our existing windows as well as the installation of two new windows. Plus they replaced our front door and all of the gutters.
We have been in the process of remodeling various parts of our home since December 2019 and have worked with quite a few different contractors. The crew from DL Design and Construction was one of the best! All of the work was done very professionally with a great deal of attention to detail. There were a few delays due to materials but we were always kept aware of what was going on. Any time we needed a question answered, Dmitriy would always respond in a timely manner. The work crew did a fantastic job of keeping the work site cleaned up and answering any questions we might have about what they were doing.
We are extremely happy with the results of this project. Our house looks the way we always wanted it to thanks to Dmitriy and his crew. We think highly enough of him that we referred him to our one of our family members who hired him to replace her windows.

We finally decided to have our siding redone on our 1941 house. I had around 10 or so bids come and talk us about options and pricing. DL Designs came with a very competitive offer and sold us on James Hardie siding and new windows for our home. I initially wanted to go with insulated vinyl thinking about how much this project would cost. I am so glad we decided to go with DL Designs and the James Hardie siding as it came out 10 times better than expected and the service from DL Design's crew was 10/10.

DL Designs does things right. Our home is very old and and nothing is straight, but they managed to install our siding perfectly. The crews work very hard and have great attention to detail in the work they do. Each day after they were done working, they cleaned up and organized all of their tools and equipment in the backyard. The area was spotless after they left each day and I loved going out there each night to admire their work and check on progress. We have a dog as well so we really appreciated each and every nail and scrap wood being swept up each day so that he wouldn't get into anything he shouldn't.

Throughout the process I had a few ideas and questions to which working with their foreman Dmitri was a breeze. He was very knowledgeable, gave great advice, very skilled work, and was a pleasure to work with. I made changes along the way and wanted a couple things in different places (things I should have planned for in the beginning) and their response was no problem and made the changes.

I will also recommend this. Go with DL Designs for every part of the job, especially any structural or electrical work needed, very important. I decided to go with another electrician from a friend's referral and I regretted that quickly. They damaged the beautiful new siding and poorly installed some fixtures, but DL came back and fixed some of their mistakes making me feel a lot better.

Overall, I would recommend DL Designs to anyone in need of siding and I will work with them again. We couldn't be happier with the way our home turned out. The quality of service, product installation, and customer service from DL Designs is 10/10.

I had purchased my 85 year old duplex last year and needed to have the upstairs exterior siding replaced. I wanted to have Hardie siding installed as my home is going to be a long term rental property. In my search found DL Construction. They had great reviews and were 5 star rated. And they delivered on that rating! Always a good sign when neighbors are very complimentary on the final look.

I signed my contract in early August and due to supply chain issues, they weren’t able to start until December. The crew was friendly, nice, and hardworking. They kept my property clean the entire time. My house received new siding, new paint, several sagging beams were replaced, new gutters and a new door installed.

After working many years in my profession with various contractors, I could see the quality work the crew did as they really paid attention to details and made sure the end product looked good and I was happy. If I need any work done in the future I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone else that needs a quality contractor. I cannot even begin to say enough good things about this company.

We contacted DL Design Construction to get an estimate on having Hardie board siding installed. After meeting with DL Design and walking our property, we decided to add on new insulation, new fascia boards, new gutters, and soffits. The cost was amazingly reasonable for all of the products and installation that was needed.

The construction crew was AMAZING. They were always extremely professional. They involved us at every decision point and notified us immediately when they spotted a potential problem.

They provided us options when we had to make decisions - like replacing our back door due to rotting boards, replacing some beams that had old termite damage, and doing some electrical work that wasn't up to code; even to the nitty gritty items like the placement of our gutter downspouts and the paint colors for the existing structure that would not be covered by Hardie board. They also let us know an approximate cost for each of the decisions we made.

I also appreciated that they pointed out areas of concern on work that they don't do (interior work) and advised us (on a very high level) how urgent the repair would be.

They left our home SPOTLESS every night. Other than a few tools piled discretely in a corner, our house after hours never looked like a construction zone. And ALL of my plants survived! Previous construction on our home (not DL Design) left my plants trampled by workers.

They paid EXTREME care to detail (e.g. touch-up paint and final walk thru) and all of the work was done to the best quality I have ever seen by a construction crew.

They went above and beyond by offering to put up exterior items we (the homeowners) had taken down prior to construction (like our security screen doors) and one member of the team reinstalled our cat door for us (after I inquired if it could be done) for a VERY reasonable price considering what a beast that door was to install in the first place.

They were super considerate, especially when we asked to stop construction for one day so we could host a small backyard birthday party for my daughter which was planned well in advance of us deciding to do construction. Due to pandemic restrictions, moving the party wasn't an option and we considered canceling when they offered not only to postpone work for one day, but, despite being in the middle of the most turbulent part of the project, they cleaned up the house in such a way that it had to be inconvenient for them to move large items, just to move them back the next day.

The projected timeline provided at the time of signing the contract was right on target. And to show how amazing they all could be, the project was finished a week ahead of schedule. We are super sad to see this crew go and wish we could use them for all of our construction projects. Highly recommend.

We have a 93 year old home which had layers of old siding, including wood and vinyl. The house is a large home with complicated elements, and had suffered some neglect and damage by previous owners.
Four companies provided bids, all of which were listed on the James Hardie website as part of their Contractor Alliance program. We knew we wanted Hardie Board fiber cement siding, and that it needed to be done right, as a once in our lifetime home -improvement project.
DL Design Construction's bid came in within range of the other three, however they were the only one that we called back for a second interview, after the initial bid. The owner, Dmitriy, patiently answered all questions. We learned that they work with regular crew, not subcontractors, and that the foreman would be on site to make sure everything was being done correctly. We were also satisfied to learn that if any questions or issues arose during the process, we would have the opportunity to have a conversation, to solve the issue, to our mutual satisfaction.
As a big project, we were told it would take about 6 weeks.
We were not disappointed.
I can honestly this was the best crew that we've worked with, and they worked hard as a team, Monday through Friday, typically from 8 to 5 pm . The foreman, Dmitriy (not the owner) was on site most of the time, also working. The guys were all great, including the three Andre's, Daniel, Tim, Slav, Artem, Alex and Paul. Everyone was polite, and helpful, and the crew cleaned up the mess (which was significant), every single day.
For the first time, this was a project that was completed when we were told it would be. In all honestly, it was one week over, but that's because we had them do some extra things (change orders), not in the initial bid. They added more electrical outlets, installed new doors with framing, and even painted my art studio!
