I have had several remediations done by other companies over the last 20 years and none have been successful. I had windows and the entire outside of the house removed this time. All repairs were made then the house was put back together again using all the newest materials. What I did not expect was a change in the living conditions inside. It is quiet, dry and the temperature throughout the house is more even . Also, my entire home is operated by electricity. Last years bill in comparison to this years bill has been cut by almost half.

Edward provided a quality product installed by competent and responsive employees. Edward offered suggestions to accomplish our remediation project in an efficient manner; and his crews got it done. We were very pleased with the process and the final product Ed's team provided us. We feel like we are living in a new home. Our project was slated to start in April, 2020, but due to new covid restrictions, we had to put things on hold. Ed never once pressured us to keep things going. Ed employs are very skilled crew of craftsmen who completed a difficult job with the highest quality. Ed possess architectural/aesthetic vision which is also helpful if you need advice in that realm. Ed was frequently on the jobsite himself, working with his hands alongside his crew; this type of leadership was nice to see. The job was completed with minimal to no hassle which was wonderful. This project raised the value of my house for twice the value of the cost of the remediation.

Unfortunately we needed remediation on a fully wrapped stucco house. We interviewed 5 different contractors & selected Edward Griffin Masonry. We could not have made a better choice. His price was very competitive and although he was not the least expensive we felt he offered the best value. He gave us options on materials to use at different price points and we selected Hardy Plank, real stone veneer, some metal roofing for accent, Azek and Hardy trim, we also opted for new windows as there was no additional charge for installation.He started on time and had a crew on the job every day throughout the duration of the project. The crews were meticulous, courteous and worked very hard, no nonsense. What was very impressive was the seamless scheduling of the crews that made the project flow smoothly. The project was completed in about 6 weeks which was beyond our expectations for a 3700 sq. ft. house. Edward also helped with suggestions along the way with colors and options. He also gave us great pricing on additional work, for example a beautiful slate front porch. As beautiful as the exterior of the house is what is most impressive is the water management, flashing etc. under the façade to insure water penetration will never be an issue again. We made a great choice in hiring Edward Griffin Masonry. The project was done correctly the 1st time, on time and on budget. Highly recommended!

My husband and I hired Edward Griffin to remediate our newly purchased home, after our previous “remediation” contractor left our home, according to our inspector, in worse condition than it was originally. As you can imagine, after being through this process once before, we wanted to make sure the second time around we hired a TRUE remediation expert who would resolve our stucco and window problems. Of the 3 or so experts in this space, we hired Edward for several reasons:Knowledgable - Edward is a true expert in the remediation space. He was able to point out areas of our home that needed attention that other contractors overlooked. Little details, such as correct flashings, kickouts, etc are so important in having your job done correctly. Edward and his team have a keen attention to detail. Onsite / Oversight - We liked that Edward was the one actually remediating our home. Edward was on our job site and was the person who removed and reinstalled all of our windows, including the building of sill pans, etc. This was VERY important to us, as we learned the hard way what can go wrong when work is subcontracted out. Trustworthy - We trust Edward. From the first day we met him we could tell he was an honest and hard working individual who would help us fix our home as if it were his own. Fair Pricing - Edward’s pricing was reasonable and fair. He wasn’t the most expensive contractor we interviewed, nor the least expensive. Now that our project is complete we couldn’t be happier that we chose to work with Edward. He and his crew were wonderful to work with, they were respectful (very important to me with a newborn and toddler in our home), diligent, and overall very pleasant to be around. After hiring Edward to remediate our home, not only are we thrilled with the appearance of our new exterior, we finally have complete confidence that it is built to last.
