The work was done satisfactorily, but as a consumer who asked questions on how and why things were seeing done they were, I got a lot of push back throughout the process. Asking what seemed like reasonable questions led to frustrated, annoyed, and sometimes what felt like aggressive responses. Build quality might be fine, but the customer service was terrible.

Nope- lacks communication and accountability.

Excellent work and communication. Both Eli, as the project manager, and Miguel, as the onsite foreman were very respectful of our property and privacy, and very quick tor respond to any questions we had. They cleaned up each day, and at the end of the job, they thoroughly cleaned both of our attics. They also finished a few days ahead of schedule!

Equinox Roofing did a great job replacing our roof. Our project manager was Eli, and he was very easy to work with. He came to inspect the roof when I was collecting bids, clearly explained what Equinox could do for us, and answered all of our questions. The next day, he emailed us the proposal. Whenever I had questions, he always responded very quickly, so from the very beginning, the communication process was excellent. This was definitely one of the factors that made us choose Equinox. Although their bid was not the lowest (nor the highest), I felt I could trust them, and that their proposal offered the best value.

When we were choosing the color for the shingles, Eli was very helpful—he brought us large, actual samples on a board, which made the selection much easier. I had a lot of travel scheduled for August, and although Equinox Roofing was very busy, they worked with me to accommodate my schedule.

When the time came to install the roof, the work crew showed up on time, did a fantastic job within the promised timeframe, and cleaned up after themselves every day. Eli was there daily to inspect the work and answer all my questions. Everything went perfectly. No surprises. We could not be happier with our decision to go with Equinox. Thank you very much, Eli!

We cannot recommend Equinox Roifing highly enough. Not only did they do an exemplary job of replacing our aging roof; but they recommended an independent solar company to execute the second half of our project.

Equinox Roofing and that solar company (SonoMarin Solar and Electric) coordinated seamlessly and left us with a finished combined project that exceeded our expectations both in terms of quality, cost and installation process.

The main project went well. They threw in some extras (adding a downspout, sealing stucco, upgraded materials for the same price as the original bid). However, there were some mistakes (skylights not sealed); yet Equinox repaired this within a few days of notification.

David Paretz was a very responsible and competent manager. He made the experience of working with him and his technician a pleasant one. He also was very reassuring about the follow up customer support in case there will be any leakage in the ensuing years.

Owning a home comes with a lot of responsibility, maintenance and upkeep in order to keep the value of the investment. Nothing lasts forever. Things always need repairs and replacements. One of the biggest expense is replacing a roof. After doing my homework and getting quotes from 6 different companies, it was difficult to make the right decision. Even though Equinox wasn’t the least expensive, I based my choice by their salesman Eli and positive reviews. It was my gut feeling that Eli was true to his word about the company’s performance, materials, scheduling etc. The date was set and the crew showed up earlier than I expected. The job was done microwave fast and absolutely
G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S when completed. The new roof made the value of the home go up by more than what the roof replacement cost. Big plus, the Equinox crew was diligent, efficient and cleaned up every day before they left. If I had another roof replacement project, I would not stop and go directly to EQUINOX ROOFING INC.
