This is our fourth project with Fence and Deck Connection. We have always been very satisfied with their materials, workmanship and price. This project required a number of schedule changes due to issues not related to F&DC, but rather to us. F&DC was extremely cooperative and flexible in accommodating these schedule changes.

In the market, there's a lot of demand for these projects, so it's hard to get scheduled on the books. Even once you get on the books after six months or so, it takes a long time to finish. Fence and Deck Connection were able to get me on the books in a month and finished the job in 3 days. Usually, contractors take a long time to finish the project because they have multiple things going on. They promise too many customers and take on too much, so they don't finish the plan. That's the main thing they did well, as well as their quality.

This list of 12 items are my exact thoughts of what would make a great deck installation company, or any other contractor as a matter of fact. I had a BAD experience with another contractor that F&DC bailed me out of. F&DC nailed all of my previous concerns so I know what results from NOT hitting all 12 of these items. Truly, F&DC took a seven month bad experience and relived me of a lot of sleepless nights. I kept asking myself how one company could be so great compared to another company who did NOTHING right except having a good website with a decent salesperson for a day. Thank you F&DC, I highly recommend their team. They are for real.

Fence & Deck Connection provided outstanding service during the sale process and construction

Jeff was my salesman, and he was great. There were no pressure sales at all. He came to my house, and he showed me the materials that his company could offer. He arrived on-time and he's very responsive. After I signed the agreement to purchase my deck, TJ the PM, was my next point of contact. He provided a timeline that was on point. Because I wanted my deck completed in the winter, I thought there would be delays due to COVID, weather, and material. However, TJ made sure that the project remained on schedule. He is very professional, and he communicates well. The communication between each team member from sales to the production team, and then to the PM office is handled exceptionally well. The crew members that built the deck arrived on-time and were great. The attention to detail as they built my deck was amazing. I was highly surprised while the crew members were cleaning off the deck after they built it, I received an email from TJ that said the crew members are almost finished. Even though TJ wasn't onsite, I felt like he was onsite, and this made me comfortable as a customer. I know that I am in good hands with Fence & Deck Connection, and I don't regret my purchase. Lastly, I didn't tell Jeff that I interviewed over 15 different companies, and Fence & Deck Connection had the 5th highest quote, but I chose Fence & Deck Connection because I saw the highly satisfied customer testimonials. I appreciate my home even more!

I purchased my deck through Lennar Homes and the deck started fading before closing. The builder instructed me to contact the vendor they subcontracted put too Fence & Deck Connection. I’ve been trying to get my deck issue resolved since since August 13, 2020, with no reply from the builder or Fence & Deck Connection Tina. So now close to the warranty expiring they forwarded me to the manufacture who knew nothing about my situation until July 12, 2021, so they took themselves out of the situation and they were the installer’s. I have the warranty request along with providing the information to my local AG Office, US HUD and Department of Veterans Affairs.

We have an unresolved issue with sagging of decking materials that were used on our very large deck project. The sagging of the deck boards started shortly after install. This issue was identified several months ago and remains unresolved. Despite our continuous follow-up and calls to get a status on resolving the issue no resolution has been identified and we are not confident the issue is being addressed at all.

The screw showed up on time, and worked quickly and efficiently. They replaced some joists that we didn't realize would need to be taken care of at no additional cost. They even helped me look for a necklace that my daughter had dropped when I asked if I could take a look while the decking was off during their lunch break.

I work in construction. I understand that companies use subcontractors for decks and the sub crew that did my home was outstanding. He asked questions if he wanted to make sure I knew what I was getting and communicated very well. I was very impressed by this installer crew. You better keep them!

Great quality, professionalism, construction skills. Poor permit process management. If you can, run with the permit process. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the results.
