VERY THANKFUL for the creative solution the roofing team who helped us came up with. They created a roof cricket next to the chimney which FINALLY fixed the small leak coming down from that area to the basement! We have had several people look at the issue and even Findlay had come out months before and thought it was just due to woodpecker holes, but after we fixed that problem ourselves, the problem persisted. So we called Findlay back out because you are the best and the guy who helped us (JOHN CIMINO) did a very thorough investigation with drones and physically going into the 110 degree attic taking dozens of pictures and with his documentation and the excellent team that came out the problem has finally been fixed! Thank you for the being the benchmark for high standards in the roofing industry!

After calling Findley, Chris contacted me and from there the process was flawless. They took before photos and after photos of the job and what a difference. Findley was referred to me by a friend and I'll refer Findley to friends.

This was a repair of a part of the roof from falling limb damage to the shingles, part of the decking and gutter and gutter covers that had caused a leak through the attic and stained the ceiling below. Findlay had originally installed the roof and gutters and covers 4 and one-half years ago. The roofing crew came out fairly quickly and seems to have fixed the problem; however, the gutter crew too much longer.
Findlay always uses this particular separate gutter and cover company that I was told was busy and short handed. I also had a clogged gutter warranty claim on a different area of the house (3rdn time on that area since original installation. Findlay said they could schedule the warranty claim at the same time as the gutter repair by the same crew. The gutter crew picked up the proper matching color gutter and cover that Findlay ordered, BUT Findlay had ordered the wrong color and the crew leader for the gutter company crew had to spend an hour each way to exchange the wrong color pieces for the correct ones while the rest of us waited around; I didn't want to leave without everything getting finished. The correct matching color gutter and cover was finally installed that day. The crew leader checked the clogged gutter area causing the water in a heavy rain to pour over the gutters rather than going down the 2 down spouts. He found that the gutter area was originally installed lower in the middle by several inches. He repositioned it, I believe curing the problem. I think the previous two visits by the "warranty" crew of Findlay were roofing people, not gutter people and simply cleared the clogged area rather than properly diagnosing the problem. They adjusted the opening where the rain water falls into the gutter itself from the cover, but that was definitely not the correct solution. Also when I questioned why it should take so long for the gutter repair crew to come, the salesman gave, in my view, a wise guy answer something like - would you want a gutter guy to install your roof or a roofer to install your gutters? Actually, it seems that is exactly what happened when the warranty group came out to unclog the gutters for the 3rd time.

Findlay did a great job on my roof and were great to work with throughout the process and were cheaper (but with good products) than the other 3 quotes. They were the first to respond to my request for a quote, first to get out to see the job and make a quote, able to do the job almost immediately and did a really great job. They also arranged a carpenter to repair soffits and fascia. And, they completed a full big roof - new wood and shingles in one day.

Findlay staff have been very cooperative and fair from start to finish, from initial contact, to assessment of any damage, to proposal of work, etc., all through the whole process they have been clear, professional, up-front, fair and cooperative. They did all they said they would do, did the actual job quickly and properly with no surprises. When done the cleaned up and cleared out swiftly making sure not to leave any debris, no nails, no problems. We could not be happier.

A special thanks to your guy who did the work. I was unable to be home to show him what to do. He did very well, and even the dogs liked him.

Team at Findlay did a very nice job replacing my roof and in a bit of a time crunch due to some issues we were having with our insurance provider. Jason did an excellent job facilitating the work, making sure there were no loose ends and everything was communicated correctly back to our insurance provider.

Billy Curcio, Sales Manager, was excellent. He followed up constantly to check on me as I determined whether to use Findlay. The price was competitive, as I obtained pricing from 3 different companies. The job involved replacing the shingles on the house and installing a TPO on a small portion of flat roof.

The shingle install was fine except that the person in charge did not speak English real well so that I could not be sure if she understood my concerns. The only issue during the install day was a gutter screen that had not been reattach that I had to point out before the crew left. They corrected it. The crew did an excellent job of cleaning up and did a good job of covering our plans and deck. There was no damage.

The flat roof installation went off great and faster than anticipated. The only problem was that the trash trailer was pulled up partially under a tree and a branch was overhanding the bed of the truck. The trash was thrown into the trailer on top of the branch. Fortunately, I noticed it the next morning before the trailer was taken away. I stayed around to catch the person that came to hook up the trailer to the cab. I showed him the problem, and he moved the debris to release the branch. If I had not noticed the problem, driving off with the trailer would have torn off a major limb since it was really buried deep.

All went well as promised!

I came back to Findlay as a repeat customer, after having a great experience the first time, only to have the WORST experience with a new sales rep. who couldn’t be bothered to actually talk to me or see me. An appointment was set for me to be home, taking time out of my schedule, to have him say that he didn't physically need to see me, which I found to be rude and the opposite of the experience I had in 2021 with Findlay Roofing. Furthermore, on several calls, around setting this appointment, he made me feel as if I was an inconvenience to fit into his schedule. As he talked on each of these calls, regarding appointment setting, he had to fit me into his schedule instead of being customer-focused, it was all about him and his schedule. When he did come for the appointment, I asked that he call me when he was finished, which he never did. Lastly, after never seeing me face to face, as a potential customer, not calling me personally to follow up about the proposal he sent, he texted and emailed me numerous times as to whether or not I was going to be moving forward in doing business with Findlay Roofing. At this point, I was so annoyed with the experience with this representative, that I sought an alternative company to do business with.

I found FINLEY ROOFING to be very professional, competitive on pricing, and able to deliver on what was talked about and executed. They started promptly, had a leader to communicate any issues that arose during the job, worked diligently and were done by 6;15 pm . They cleaned up as they went and checked for nails upon completion. I would and will gladly recommend them.

The longest part of the process was for me to get 2 other roof quotes. Once I got them, I carefully considered the three companies, read reviews on them and compared their written quotes. Findlay wasn’t the cheapest, actually in the middle but close enough that I decided to go with them. Their quote was professionally written and answered all my questions and concerns. The morning of the roof replacement, they had 19 workers show up at around 6:00am. They wanted to beat the 100 degree heat we were going to have that day. They quickly spread tarps all around my house to catch the old shingles and roofing nails. These 19 workers got to work removing the old roof shingles, tar paper and nails and install the new roof. It was very hot and they worked fast. I walked around the house a lot to observe their work and all of them smiled and were very friendly. Once the work was done, they cleaned up my yard, removing all the debris and using magnets to pick up all the nails. The roof looks great and I’m extremely glad I used Findlay. I would use them again but hopefully it won’t be for another 20 years!!!

Overall we were pretty happy with Findlay Roofing, but the journey was not without issues. As you read this keep in mind replacing a sizable roof is a significant construction project. There will be issues and the responsiveness of the company you deal with matters!

We had a massive team on site for the work - 20+ workers. They removed and replaced 7,000+ sq ft of roof in a single day! They did a great job removing the old shingles and being careful not to destroy our landscape. The also did a nice job installing the new underlayment and shingles, replacing damaged OSB panels where needed and installing metal valleys, a lot of new flashing along chimneys and roof arches, 3 new high power attic fans and new ridge vents in areas where we didn't have them before.

We did have three issues needing follow-up: small damage to an area where someone stepped on flashing and damaged the edge of an existing OSB panel (you could only see this from inside the attic). A new dryer vent put in the roof that was left unconnected (turns out someone threw away a necessary part that came with the new vent). Lastly, we had new metal roofs installed on two low pitch roofs and when the old flashing was removed the old caulk was left in place along the walls (the new flashing was not as high). You could see this from the windows in the house and it looked terrible - it had to be addressed. Final solution was Findlay installed taller strips of flashing that covered all of the caulk which not only cleaned up the walls visually, but added an extra layer of weather protection.

Findlay was very responsive in addressing these issues. Never had to wait more than a week or so for someone to come out, look at the problem and line up the follow-up work. Thank you Findlay.

Findlay Roofing is in a class by themselves. We got multiple quotes for our roof replacement and they all were pretty close in price but Austin from Findlay actually explained everything, answered multiple texts and simply provided amazing support coming to our house multiple times. They dropped off sample shingles to make sure we were good with our chose. They scheduled the installation around our schedule. The team that did the installation insured it was done in a day with nothing left cluttering up our yard. The singles look great and more importantly they solved two water leakage issues and of course provide the best warranty In Atlanta.

We have been a customer of Findlay roofing before on our previous home. Their quality of work was great. However. if it possible to get better they have met our expectations! I would recommend them to anyone!!!
