My first review ever - but highly warranted. I was referred to Gardner Contracting after a large hail storm caused damage to my house, roof, and property. From day one, Scott was prompt, communicative, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable in the ways of insurance documentation and representation. He assured me that working with him and Garner Contracting will get the house and property restored to prior storm conditions - and he delivered! Scott is highly experienced in weaving his way through the process of documentation and interaction with the insurance companies and really acts as “the face of the customer” when dealing with them. He was invaluable and his years of experience and knowledge is something that just can’t be overstated. As for pricing, scheduling, and the work itself, Gardner Contracting was very competitive in a largely competitive environment after our neighborhood was struck by the hail storm. Their scheduling was quick and the quality (workmanship) was of highest order. I would, without ANY reservations, recommend Scott and Gardner Contracting for your roofing requirements. They do great work at a fair price. But, if you have damage and must interact with ANY insurance company to make things right, they are REQUIRED. You just can’t be 100% successful in weaving your way through the insurance quagmire without them. You will do yourself and your investment a disservice if you don’t utilize their expertise. Gardner Contracting is the best overall company I have ever dealt with in my 60 years.

Larry was hands on during our entire roofing project. He took care of one minor issue timely & to our satisfaction. We’ll definitely use Gardner Contracting in the future.

Gardner Contracting is much larger than the last time we used them. The proprietor usually does not go out to the site now. He remembered us from before and came out to look at the roof himself.

Project manager, Larry Doby, was highly professional and always worked with me in advance of any sub coming on-site. He jumper in on numerous occasions to help his subs, for instance, clearing snow and ice off the roof so that they could work. He was always helpful and polite and a joy to work with. The roofing crew was terrific, despite having to fight high winds and snow. They always seemed cheerful and worked extremely hard. Contract was handled highly professionally in all aspects and exceeded expectations.

Ken was very helpful, I was grateful for his experience and knowledge. Mike also was very helpful with questions that came up during the process. Ken and Mike made a great team with their Site Manager Thomas, who made sure the job was done right and clean up was good. It took two days to complete, the crew was top-notch, the Owens Corning Duration Storm Shingles are high quality and look great because of the superior workmanship. Ken returned for a final inspection after all work was complete including screens, vinyl window repair, and gutters.
