This is a project that we needed to do for many years. I had interviewed more than a handful of contractors because it was such a big project that I wanted to make sure that we were selecting the right company. Without a doubt, I knew immediately I wanted to move forward with Good Guys. Once they started the project, their workmanship, professionalism, and service all exceeded my expectations. The entire project from start to finish was perfect. The final product was beyond what I could have come up with or what my expectations were. Theo, the project manager, was great. Carlos, who was the main contractor doing the work, was phenomenal to work with. His detail to workmanship was fantastic. The owner, Dave, was great. Everybody that worked with was phenomenal. I cannot be more happy with how it came out.

Our siding looks amazing. The team did a beautiful job with it, was excellent at troubleshooting problematic issues with the house and took care to make the siding work. Almost a year later they promptly came back to take a look at an issue we were having and quickly were able to resolve it and communicate directly about what we could do in the future.

I called Good Guys after I fired a previous Company that wasn’t paying his subs. Good Guys came through a friend that installs siding but never worked with Hardie. My house had some intricate details including a flare, between floor crown molding and weaving the corners. When I fired the previous company, I received 6 estimates. Several “well-known” companies were trying to steer me towards vinyl and others telling me that my ideas would never work. David took the time to walk the entire house and informed me how they could accomplish my goals and even mentioned the one issue he may foresee 10-20 years down the road (which were minimal and possibly require me to paint the weaved corners). Alfonso would send me a video everyday of the work that is being completed and what to expect the following day/week. Brittany was on top of any concerns (they were minimal) that I had throughout the process.

Good Guys provided comprehensive information in its quote and was responsive throughout the actual project progress. They were patient while we wrestled with the color choice, which pushed our start date down, and they completed the job within the promised time frame. The siding looks great and we have gotten many compliments from our neighbors. I would definitely recommend Good Guys.

Great experience, great product, great service, and very good price.

From the pre-planning start of the job through the construction and completion of the job everything could not have been better. The owner David Ferraro was intimately involved with the project from the beginning through the end of the project. He made sure that if there were any issues we had they were corrected by his team immediately. The project manager of the crew, Alfonse was constantly on top of the construction crew to make sure everything was up to par according to the James Hardie standards. The product itself was spectacular from James Hardie and all my neighbors and people who passed by complimented the job highly. we believed the costs were well in line with what we wanted to do and far exceeded any normal siding product that we reviewed. We also wanted to compliment Brittney Conway the office manager for her stellar work and attention to details in keeping the financial and operational part of the job coordinated and running smoothly throughout the entire project. We always got immediate feedback from the Good Guys team, and if there ever was an issue it would be resolved immediately. It was very obvious and apparent that the construction crew managed by Alfonse definitely knew their jobs and were very clean and efficient around our property. Dave at GGC is an amazing asset for any new homeowner; he knows what needs to be done and if he can't do it, he knows someone who can - he is also always willing to say when it is not something he specializes in. GGC was not the cheapest option but they did a phenomenal job and were extremely professional and pragmatic about all aspects of the job. Not only would I strongly recommend them to anyone, they are my go to contractor.

Good Guys were terrific. Responsive, thoughtful, creative. It started with the design of the siding and their recognition that our old house needed shingles on the top half. They saw all the pieces of trim that needed to be replaced or could be painted (to save cost). They put me on their schedule and updated me constantly about the date the project would begin. They began promptly. My house is an investment property. They interacted with my tenants very respectfully. They sent me photographic updates every day. They finished within the 3-week window they had indicated and cleaned up the construction site so well, you would never have guessed that this was a recently-completed job (other than the pristine quality of the work). The jobsite manager, Alphonso, was wonderful to deal with - responsive, prompt, extremely helpful with suggestions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Good Guys to anyone.

Good Guys installed Hardie Siding, roofing and replacement windows. Everyone who worked on the project was very professional, respectful and easy to communicate with. My house has some odd trim around windows on a prior bump-out of the dining room and Landor did an excellent job in designing the Hardie trim.

Dave and Alfonso were great to work with, and addressed all of our concerns. They worked with us and adjusted our estimate throughout the process when we decided to remove things that weren't necessary, or add things that would make the final result better. Hardie Board siding, Marvin windows and a new cornice have made our modest Brooklyn row house look extraordinary! There are a lot of construction delays as the pandemic drags on, and weather can also slow down a project, so keep this in mind when planning. Good Guys did excellent work in spite of all the challenges. The cost was affordable and the result is beautiful.

They were professional and attentive to adjustments to the project. Despite working through some difficult weather this winter, they showed up and muscled through the days and completed the project in a timely manner. They responded promptly to my calls and addressed any issues I had quickly. The price for the work they performed and the quality of the material they used was the best. I couldn't be happier with my James Hardie Plank installation.

My siding is hanging off the house since August 4th with no response from Good Guys. My work warranty expires in 2021. Why is Dave leaving me hanging?

If you want your work done right look for the Good Guys. I had my work done with another and needed repair and additional work. I called the company that did it and they were too busy to call me back. Good Guys were on the hardie board website as recommended and they came and immediately saw things that they told me will end up being problems in the future. I had to wait a little while to get them to the house but the job is flawless. They fixed things that bothered me for years. Don’t waste your time getting estimates. These guys are the real deal. My experience with Good Guys Contracting was great from the moment I called them. Laurie (office manager) was always pleasant over the phone tried to schedule around my busy schedule. My salesman/estimator David was knowledgeable and I felt he was more informative than the rest I had come during the sales process. My project manager Alfonso held my hand and always calmed my anxieties during the construction process. Good Guys wasn't the cheapest price I received, but I trust me they are worth the extra couple % points if your looking for the best quality and attention to detail.

We found Good Guys Contracting during our search for better alternatives to vinyl siding. Our big ugly house was in desperate need of new siding (it was covered in old cedar tongue and groove that hadn’t been touched in 35+ years) and a replacement 2nd story deck. I did my due diligence and met with many contractors and got estimates from quite a few (at least 10) but Scott and Dave were by far the best. Not only were they knowledgeable, HONEST and professional but, they were actually really great guys. They went out of their way to get us what we wanted while keeping us within our budget, which was no easy task. We can’t say enough about them; Scott, Dave, Ted and the whole crew were amazing. It was such a relief to have had our project completed without any aggravation and by guys who took the time to do the job right. I recommended them to everyone and we will hire them again for all of our future projects.

I contracted for a complete re-siding of my house in April 2017. I was promised the work would begin in 2 to 3 weeks and take 2 to 3 weeks to complete. It is now April 2018 and I still have a punch list of uncompleted services that were in the original contract.
