Overall, the project took three months; there were multiple cancellations. It should not have taken that long; there was not a lot of communication. I was never given a full assessment. They broke down how they charge but never gave me a quote to begin with, and it ended up costing me considerably more than what I wanted to pay.
We so wanted this to be a good experience and to have them do more work for us. Troy was our guy and his work was very good—so I will say that. We understand they are busy however you agree to the job with some customer service person to set up a time to come and start the job, no quote. You agree to pay a fee that later can be applied to some of the man hours of work. Fine no worries, the issue is they come the day they quote and say they will repair that day. I sent several pictures and lengthily explanations of what specifically was needed and they said they would pass the info along to the tech. Our tech was not prepared when he came and saw he would need to get a few things and left our job to go finish another and said he would be back. The other job ran really long, so he came back out and had to get the materials and then started the job an hour into darkness. Fine again, but had to leave it all told us he would have to put a work order in to get back on the schedule for the job to get finished and when I asked when that might be he didn’t know. So basically they start and quote jobs to get you to use them and then don’t finish the job for over a month or more. They also never gave an estimate for the cost of the job and so when our tech came to work on it after another job for the day he’d only have an hour till dark and it was hourly billed so it was several times of starting just to stop and never being able to really work on much and needing to stop and come back so the job which should have taken one 8 hour day took 5 visits and 16 hours. The work was good when done. We had told them several times we needed the new siding to get painted and everyone proceeded. It wasn’t until I got an emailed invoice with a total did I realize my tech wasn’t coming back out to finish the job. I found out via text message I can’t paint and he said that was his mistake again taking the job before ever saying he couldn’t paint. So my budget for the whole job was spent on them with a half brown half white back of a house. We had to hurry and find someone to paint before it was too cold. We had a day window before it was freezing and snowing to paint, our painter started painting and realized there was some old rotting siding still there specifically where we needed our siding replaced. We sent photos and went over the job before he started, he did everything around it but left this one piece of rotting board. To now replace it I would have to get someone to go up and take a piece out and reside around a brand new siding job, this whole thing has been a nighmare. We wanted that board still replaced but trying to get someone to come out was a nighmare all over again and the tech who was going to come out and fix the board had to cancel twice so we just said forget it because we would have to I’m sure still pay hourly for there mistake to come take care of something they should have done the first time around so I would be spending more money over so much we already did past what we thought we would spend and for the whole job. $2247.64 is what we paid for an unfinished job.
The work was very well done, completed in a timely matter once it started. Very professional. I would definitely hire them again for any other projects in the future.

The siding work completed on my home was thoroughly professional. Work was completed swiftly and the workers were polite and accommodating. Cleanup completed was exceptional.
Initially, I wasn't getting a good quality estimate for my needs. It took some time for them to do things the way that I wanted, but their workmanship seemed to be good. They were significantly off from the original estimate I received for the job. The project ended up costing twice as much as the original cost.
They had the whole siding job done in three days except for the gutters which were done a few days later. It looks wonderful, they did a fabulous job and they also cleaned up very well!

The only issue I had was when they showed up. They parked at the neighbor's house, and they were about to install the gutters on their house. Luckily, I was home to tell them. Other than that, they were perfectly wonderful. They just initially had the wrong the house.
The work (gutter install) was done when I was not home, and it was done so well I didn't even realize it was done for a couple days. Nearby plants were completely unaffected. Nice job.
They offer a high level of professionalism. They were punctual with on time deployment. It was a great experience all around.

I feel Graves Bros. Home Improvement Co. was unclear about the pricing with the initial estimate.
After two scheduling delays, the team arrived and quickly and professionally completed the labor. They had a issue at the end where a truck got stuck in the yard. This did quite a bit of damage to the yard, but the tech accepted responsibility and quickly and efficiently repaired the damage.
I am very satisfied with the service and professionalism.

We had issues with weather, trying to locate the siding to make the repair , typical stuff that happens....and during the entire process, communication was absolutely flawless. I never felt like I was forgotten about at all.
