Note: Had to choose a completion date, though our home is still not complete.

Low quality crew that’s poorly managed by project managers who are poorly managed by the owner. In the 10 months they have been working on our home’s siding, our project manager was both promoted and fired, and a crew that worked on our home was fired. Apparently 5 other homes between fall 2023 and spring 2024 needed some major revisions as well. I’m not sure whether this was just a particularly unstable period of time for Hatch Homes or if instability and unreliability are two things you need to expect when working with them. What I do know is that the quality of work we received does not align with what they market and claim. The owner and our second pm both agreed that the work done on our house was sloppy - the crew struggled to apply even layers of paint, and they got paint on literally everything: window trim, a door, our shrubs, porch balusters, shrubs, porch deck, new gutters and downspouts, our brick (which they then sanded 😳) etc. They had to re-caulk multiple times because gobs and strings of caulk were everywhere. New downspouts were also damaged during install.

Everything has been very reactive. They fix one problem and then create another. An endless cycle of errors.

They are one of two James Hardie approved installers in the area, but James Hardie and a third party inspector disagree with the installation of our siding and the flashing. According to our inspector, not adhering to the James Hardie specifications could void any warranties with James Hardie.

Had an amazing experience with the Hatch Homes team. From start to finish, they had everything covered. Our project was a bit challenging, but the crew was able to make all the repairs required to complete the job in a timely manner. One of the most professional construction companies I have ever worked with and would do business with them again in a heartbeat! Hatch Homes is very focused on the customer having the best possible experience and they go out of their way to make sure everything is as expected. Highly recommended!!

I was completely satisfied with the whole experience.

The project was primarily to replace the lap siding on our home. Along with that was replacing the gutters and painting the entire exterior. The project was organized in three phases - siding replacement, painting, and gutter installation. The project manager, Arnaldo, supervised all phases of the project. The quality of the finished project exceeded our expectations. We had great communication with all three work crews. Our questions were answered and our comments and concerns were addressed quickly and to our satisfaction. The area was left clean each day. We were very happy with the attention to detail, particularly with the painting. The siding crew was like a well oiled machine. At the end of the project, there were only. a few minor paint touch-ups needed and they were completed within a couple days. Our project coordinators Lin and Amy were very responsive, as was the owner Bill. We were also pleased with the help that Lin and Amy provided with color selection. We are recommending Hatch Homes to our friends and neighbors and we have received numerous compliments on the quality and workmanship.

Great experience all around. Very pleased with all aspects of the job. Work crew was professional, safe, courteous, and nice.

We have had a difficult time with contractors in general, however our experience was night and day from that. They were efficient, communicative, and did a thorough job. We feel very confident with the work they did.

From start to finish they were very supportive throughout the process. They kept us up to date on the project and continued until completion. The labor, work and craftsmanship was excellent. Their workers, and those at the project, were very cordial, respectful and we were very pleased and satisfied from beginning to end.

Both the staff and the quality of work were exceptional. The staff was responsive to all concerns on a daily basis. The communication between the company, the staff, the subcontractors. and the homeowner is something I have never experienced. The crew was completely responsive.

Hatch Homes did a great job replacing our whole house siding, and adding new gutters.
