When you are doing business with homeowners, and they are not familiar with all the fine print and everything, I think there should be someone who should sit down and explain it to them, even before they purchase a policy to cover damages to a home. I know this tree removal is with another company, but it had to do with the insurance company paying it off and not paying me like they said to get my roof fixed. They told me to get my roof fixed and then send them the bill. I told them no, because I didn't have the money to fix the roof, and I was going to fix the roof with what they gave me. There is still a tarp up there, and they did more damage with the tarp, which added more damage to the roof where the tree fell. Now I got a tarp up there with damages. They need to do business better than that, especially when dealing with senior citizens.
