Noah, Ian, Jarod & Richard (and Adriana) were a delight to work with! From the initial visit & subsequent phone calls - Noah was extremely helpful, responsive & flexible with our questions & changes - including several on-site visits. Ian was also instrumental in helping us finalize our design - even if it cost less than originally planned (but still provided fabulous results) . Ian also made several trips out during construction to ensure all of our concerns were addressed - including providing several options for us to consider. We can't say enough about the amazing craftsmanship of our two carpenters Jarod & Richard - these guys were amazing. Not only bending backwards to go above & beyond every day - but also putting up with our daily "oversight", special requests & list of questions. We had considered doing some of the work ourselves, but when we saw these guys in action - there was no question they were skilled professionals & would do a MUCH BETTER job than we ever could. We can't forget Adriana ... she was very happy to take our payments :) & was also very patient with our questions & responsive too. VERY PLEASED with the final result - what a stunning addition to our home that will last a lifetime!! We did a lot of research before selecting HOLMES, but we are SO HAPPY that we did - THANKS AGAIN TEAM!!

We are very happy with our decision to replace our vinyl siding with the James Hardie fiber cement board. The project went quickly and smoothly & we were well pleased with the siding crew (led by Noah) that completed this project quickly and in less than ideal temperatures (mid-January). Holmes did a great job on our big Hardie siding project. Everyone on the crew was courteous and hard working, even through the summer heat. Holmes Custom Renovation replaced the siding on our home with Hardie siding. Not only was the pricing fair, but they were also upfront on pricing, budget, and timeframes. They also worked with us to ensure we picked the right style and colors, confirming multiple times - in case we changed our minds - and made a recommended change at install time we hadn't considered that made a big difference to the final look. Since our major renovation of the exterior of the house by Holmes, about (5) years ago, Ian has always recognized me on the phone, been responsive, considerate, friendly and stood by his work.

Finding a professional reliable contractor can be difficult so we were very happy with our decision to have Holmes Custom Renovations re-side our house. From initial meeting and estimate to the completion of the job each member of the team was highly professional and knowledgeable. Very pleased, overall, with the completed project (we had a patio door removed, and a smaller window and Hardie Plank siding to replace it). Wish Holmes would have communicated better with us after the contract was signed. Took much longer to complete; based on no communications from the contractor, not sure that was because of window delivery or because they were busier on other projects prior to completing ours. We received no communication from Holmes regardling any delays; once we contacted them, the project got completed in good time.

Good process from start to finish. Everyone I interacted with was professional, and addressed any needs or concerns that I had from the beginning. Very easy to work with, extremely satisfied with the way the house turned out, would recommend.

Ultimately, the siding job on our house looks good. It took a lot more of my personal time and effort to assure that outcome than I had hoped. The workers were super nice, great people. Apparently, they were supposed to have a 3 man crew, but the teams were short staffed and only two of them consistently showed up. The project took longer than anticipated because of this, but there were also considerable weather delays. Time delays weren't a huge problem for me, though. What most concerned me was attention to detail. The installers made repeated oversights and misjudgments in their work, some with significant functional and aesthetic impacts. Each day I would review their progress and often needed to point things out or ask that items be corrected. I spoke often with the supervisor who seemed to have much more experience and would come and correct things with the workers. The last few days, he came in and worked with the installers to get the job completed. I appreciated his help and intervention. Despite the persistence of relatively minor inconsistencies in the workmanship, the siding installation overall looks good. I trust that the James Hardie product will be durable. There was not an independent attention to detail that I would have hoped for from a group with a reputation such as Holmes, but overall I'm pleased with the outcome.
